I think it should've been equal credit.
lol, now you're just arguing semantics.
whether he get's "equal" credit or not changes nothing.
50 has always thanked and shown respect for Em/Dre for giving him the career he has.

He's shown Em more respect than Dre. There's a reason why they fell out at one point.
For the most part, yeah. Post-Eminem era 50 has done dirt musically in most eyes. I didn't like anything much after GRODT, personally.
He's buried musically. I'm sure Ja and Irv could work out some hits nowadays, as they were genuinely good at it. 50 can't.

and they patched it up.
Why are you still on this?
I'd understand if either held animosity, but they're all friends and have respect for each other, and 50 is nothing but grateful Dre was part of his career.

Ya'll were not in NYC during that 2001 to 2003 mixtape run
50 had the game on SMASH
We legit had'nt seen something like this since DMX...and I know this because I was in JHS when DMX dropped and we used to be on the 54 and 38 singing Ruff Ryders shyt like we could really go to The Tunnel that weekend to catch a show or something, meanwhile we got homework to do later that night
The only other time I seen some shyt like that was when 50 dropped....nikkas were legit going to Beat Street and Bargain Bazaar on an almost weekly basis trying to figure out of 50 had dropped a new tape or if it was some old shyt repackaged
And this was BEFORE he signed to Shady. Him signing to Shady was the CULMINATION of all of that IMO.
IIRC he might have signed to Ruff Ryders but went to Shady because the idea of Dre producing his album, along with Eminem being the co-sign was too much of an offer to ignore
Horrible response. Doesn't NEGATE ANYTHING I said. Ja Said 50 was NOTHING without Em. When in fact he got more star power assistance than 50,via a feature, complete with video, on a sdtk, to a movie just as big as 8 Mile.Technicality. Even though it was out on mixtapes a little earlier, Wanksta dropped as a single on 8 Mile soundtrack. Not technically an Eminem album, but basically was as far as audience. Biggest rap album from fall 2002 far as sales and exposure and 50 was all over it, more than anyone but Em himself. That album introduced 50 to Em's fanbase and positioned him as his top lieutenant. If you gonna deny that played a huge role in the hype surrounding GRODT you just in denial
Was 50 not blowing up prior to being blackballed? Y’all act like 50 ain’t have a whole destiny’s child feature way before Eminem lolIf 50 couldnt blow up like Fab or even Joe Budden in the early 00s, then he was destined for meritocracy.
But he was blackballed. If it wasnt for dre and em, he would have been shut out of the industry.50 has attested that Em did save him.
If he hasn't signed to Em, he'd still make some noise, but probably nowhere near the amount he did after aligning with Em / Dre.
Wouldn't go as far to say Em "Made" him though. 50 was hot off tapes already.

No one's debating if 50 got help, we know he did.
But that nonsense of it being all about em, is cap.
In fact when em was struggling, the mighty unit kept attention over there.
50 is a Don, and the lil nikkas HE put in did alot better than black child, tah murda.
