Wade is overrated. Great, great player, but wasn't even a Top 10 player for 10 years, was oft-injured even in his prime and peak, and caught lightning in a bottle one year and would probably be a 1x champion without LeBron James taking his talents to South Beach...

At his best he was legit but besides his consistency in the playoffs (when healthy) and that signature '06 run, you can absolutely debate Harden is better...

Just a hypothetical: Harden has already been a Top 10 player for 7 years. If his run as an elite player passes Wade (who was a Top 10 guy for 9 years), and his career outlasts Wade (who played 16 years), and he gets a title, its gonna be hard to argue Wade as better. Wade has the rings and longevity, as of right now, in his favor over Harden more than actual breaking down of their games head up...

Well what I didn't say was his ring doesn't count. I said he didnt win it as a #1 and I explicitly compared what they both accomplished as #1's...

We can dance around it any way you want to, but justify Pierce repeatedly missing the playoffs in arguably the weakest era of Eastern Conference basketball. Explain to me how this works, because in the exact same era Allen Iverson carried arguably the weakest roster ever to an NBA Finals, and in the exact same era Iverson only missed the playoffs twice...

Pierce has never been the only "star" playing with limitations around him, I find it funny that we're jumping through hoops to excuse a guy who isn't a Top 15 player of his primary era (the 2000s), but when we talk about someone like Harden who is a Top 5 player of his primary era (2010s), we're doing everything to minimize the fact that he was/is a better player...
