The gap between Harden and the rest of the other guards in the league is scary. I definitely see him continuing this level of dominance in the postseason as well.

I'm one of the biggest Harden haters on this site and even I was :scust: at some of the horrid ass takes and narratives that were being thrown around on here and in the media at him after he finally asked out. Straight up idiots proudly declaring how they'd take Jamal Murray and Jaylen Brown over him, or how complete nobodies who haven't done a single thing in the league like Tyler Herro and MPJPLS were "UNTOUCHABLE" in any trade for a former MVP of the league in his prime. :mjlol::unimpressed: Hope those all those clowns having fun on the outside looking in watching him and the Nets dominating through their nice windows that are now bolted firmly shut. :francis:
Bro same. Look up my post history. I’ve shytted on harden for years but I was so confused at those trade threads. These nikkas were tripping. Scamgawd or not That’s still James fukking Harden.

Prolly cuz being a 7 foot hyper efficient scorer with guard skills and great defense while still being a good facilitator is an invaluable combination of skills when the games matter most. Harden is amazing though and right there in the regular season at least.

Real question you should asking is how is LeBron better than Harden...or have ya'll already accepted it ain't 2015 anymore?
Except that's not the case at all. KD's only elite skill is scoring. That's the most important skill to have but he's a mediocre playmaker and his defense is only slightly above average at best. Put him on a team that doesn't have an elite guard to handle creation duties and you see his weaknesses pretty clearly. On every team KD has been on his only job has been to score because he doesn't have the ability to anchor an elite defense, be a lead playmaker, etc.

It's funny you say that cause KD has never done anything better than Lebron besides shooting. Lebron has led better playoff offenses than KD, has scored more efficiently on a higher volume than KD in the playoffs, and is demonstrably better in every other facet of basketball. But KD has a prettier game so dudes love to overrate his impact.

KD is probably the second best active postseason player. I don't think Brooklyn is much better than being the East version of the 2018 Rockets, if they were to trade him (for whatever reason) and run things through Kyrie + Harden
How? His efficiency routinely decreased from regular season to postseason until he signed with the Warriors and got to enjoy the fruits of their labor. Defenses honed in on Steph and let KD iso 1-on-1, he didn't face the defensive attention that Harden had to face as a Rocket. Harden this season is in a similar position as KD was and you'll see just great of a postseason player he can be when he isn't facing double teams consistently.

:mjlol: How is KD better than Harden? Harden is capable of leading the league in assists and scoring in any given season. Dude is a walking offensive system, can elevate any team into a top ten offense just by virtue of adding him to the team. KD might be able to give you 40 against any defense but Harden can give you 40 and 15.

Ya'll better recognize the true king of New York
KD still the best on the planet. Can’t teach being a 7 foot bucket with a 7’5” wingspan:wow:

You can't argue that Harden is better than Durant or LeBron until he wins a chip. You can't crown a player based on regular-season performance when he's had a shaky playoff history(Giannis).....Has Harden been 1 of the top 3 regular season players over the last 5 years?...IMO, Yes....but how has that translated into the playoffs?

No excuses for Harden or Durant...They should win the championship this season.

To be fair... the 2018 Rockets arguably win the championship if prime CP3 doesn't miss games 6 and 7 with a blown hamstring after they went up 3-2 on the KD Warriors.

So if Harden + prime Kyrie + shooters are even slightly better than that 65 win Rockets team... they'd be favorites to come out the East, barring injuries.
