Ain’t nobody arguing he better than Hakeem bruh, bottom line is they gon trade him somewhere he wants to go

When was the last time you seen a star of his caliber get traded without input? This isn’t the NFL
He’s under contract for three years. The Rockets don’t have to trade him anywhere. He has no leverage. The only leverage he has is if the Rockets front office wants to tank. Even then that doesn’t mean they’re gonna send him to the Nets.

Westbrook was traded to the Rockets with Presti’s word he’d trade him to a team that he wanted, same thing applies to PG

these are business these teams are not looking to ruin relationships with respected players

What you are saying is not reality, they aren’t going to treat Harden like that. He’s one of the teams greatest players, it’s okay we’ll find out who’s correct in a couple of days possibly hours tho

KG didn’t fukk with the TWolves for years
So..

the franchises are running a business you don’t want to leave a bad impression on future talent
Winning and Money impresses talent not warm and fuzzy hallmark moments

Harden is gonna go where he wants you guys are being naive if you think he doesn’t have leverage
Ask Kyrie how that worked when he "demanded" a list from Cle

Ask Jimmy Butler how that worked when he "demanded" a specific list leaving minnesota

He'll get his reality check just like those two did unfortunately :francis:

Kyrie got traded to one of the best teams in the league and the Celtics were on his list

Jimmy got traded midseason and on top that he’s not on the same level as Harden in terms of what he did for the franchise, not even a comparable situation

If Brooklyn can get another team involved to create the package the rockets want, they’ll trade him to his destination but not for a less than satisfactory haul.

A. No They weren't
Kyrie Irving's list of preferred trade destinations doesn't really matter

What you're talking about is David Griffin on NBAtv coming out and "speculating" that Kyrie would accept a trade to Boston but they were not on his list when he demanded that trade

B. What does them being a good team have to do with Cleveland dictating where he went

Jimmy got traded midseason
so

and on top that he’s not on the same level as Harden in terms of what he did for the franchise, not even a comparable situation
It's only not comparable to you because you have some weird idea that every situation with a player being traded involves some sort of mutual good will between both parties...which is non-factual historically ...If this was a situation like OKC last summer where Sam Presti had a wink wink deal with PG on facilitating a trade for him if things didn't work out you'd have a better point but clearly that is not the case here

And speaking of PG how did that trade demand to LA work for him when he was with the pacers :francis:

Yeah of course... but the notion that they have to "do right by him" and accept any ol shytty package while turning down substantially better offers sounds crazy as hell lol
