He’s under contract for three years. The Rockets don’t have to trade him anywhere. He has no leverage. The only leverage he has is if the Rockets front office wants to tank. Even then that doesn’t mean they’re gonna send him to the Nets.Ain’t nobody arguing he better than Hakeem bruh, bottom line is they gon trade him somewhere he wants to go
When was the last time you seen a star of his caliber get traded without input? This isn’t the NFL
Westbrook was traded to the Rockets with Presti’s word he’d trade him to a team that he wanted, same thing applies to PGWhen was the last time you seen any star with over two years left on the contract have input and leverage on where he wants to go.
What you are saying is not reality, they aren’t going to treat Harden like that. He’s one of the teams greatest players, it’s okay we’ll find out who’s correct in a couple of days possibly hours thoHe’s under contract for three years. The Rockets don’t have to trade him anywhere. So..KG didn’t fukk with the TWolves for years
Winning and Money impresses talent not warm and fuzzy hallmark momentsthe franchises are running a business you don’t want to leave a bad impression on future talent
Ask Kyrie how that worked when he "demanded" a list from CleHarden is gonna go where he wants you guys are being naive if you think he doesn’t have leverage

Not necessarily breh these players can make it work if they want it to work..put egos aside and they'll be rollingThe ball movement on the Nets gonna look terrible if this happens![]()
Kyrie got traded to one of the best teams in the league and the Celtics were on his listSo..

Ask Jimmy Butler how that worked when he "demanded" a specific list leaving minnesota
He'll get his reality check just like those two did unfortunately![]()
Who said he’s getting traded for scraps?Nobody trades away a player in their prime for less than favorable packages. Harden is a top 5 player in the league. He’s not getting traded for scraps.

If Brooklyn can get another team involved to create the package the rockets want, they’ll trade him to his destination but not for a less than satisfactory haul.So..

A. No They weren'tKyrie got traded to one of the best teams in the league and the Celtics were on his list
soJimmy got traded midseason
It's only not comparable to you because you have some weird idea that every situation with a player being traded involves some sort of mutual good will between both parties...which is non-factual historically ...If this was a situation like OKC last summer where Sam Presti had a wink wink deal with PG on facilitating a trade for him if things didn't work out you'd have a better point but clearly that is not the case hereand on top that he’s not on the same level as Harden in terms of what he did for the franchise, not even a comparable situation

Leverage of being a franchise goat
they not gonna send him somewhere he doesn’t want to go and nuke their relationship with him

Yeah of course... but the notion that they have to "do right by him" and accept any ol shytty package while turning down substantially better offers sounds crazy as hell lolIf Brooklyn can get another team involved to create the package the rockets want, they’ll trade him to his destination but not for a less than satisfactory haul.
