I can accept Booth comments but I feel like this section (and forum in general) isn’t into a lot of music that is outside of the typical Rap/R&B sound and it’s kinda something that sticks out to me like a sore thumb. So there’s that.

I like janelle as a person, and she's gorgeous, and I've tried to like her music, but aside from a couple of songs her music is consistently wack to me incredibibly overrated IMO

And that’s your opinion. She’s not overrated at all. She’s more like an artist that isn’t for you. *shrug*

I agree. Electric was a disappointment to me tho. Felt like even she was tired of the android theme.

Yeah, I was kinda indifferent about EL aside from a few songs, but I’ve grown to appreciate it more later. I will say that I’m cool with her moving away from the android theme just because it will show her artistry in a different light. I think the album from top to bottom is going to be an amazing experience, and the singles are going to sound even better in essence of the album.

Dont get fooled by the stans this is how most people feel about her.

I’m getting negged for saying Yoga is her best song. She’s too talented and has too much appeal to be making niche music for snobs
