Man, looking back at this thread, it's funny to see how many co-signs were dropped even though it seemed like a troll thread
Before this thread, hate for this chick was rare on here (if not nonexistent)......the fact that's she's pretty, obviously helped that

bytch just seem like one of those artists who some people like to pretend to 'get' and be a fan of, just because they obviously have talent and because they're 'different'. I think that's what's been happening on here up until recently

I'm sorry.....but like I said before, the bytch makes boring-ass music. Great singer, not criticizing her lyrics, but she can't hold anyone's attention for long. She was kinda gettin' there with that Q.U.E.E.N. track, but even that wasn't that great

Why anytime people like something that's artistic, they have to be 'trying to be different' or 'pretending'? We can't like art? We can't truly like Being John Malkovich or Tree of Life? I wasn't talking about her ACTUAL fans with the 'pretend to get' comment....I was talking about nikkas who legit don't get the music or don't personally care for it unlike her real fans......but rather than just admit that, they avoid talking about it and instead just co-sign her based on the fact that she's recognized as being talented (or the fact that she's pretty)

Shots weren't meant for you personally breh. I just get tired of people assuming that fans of non-mainstream are pretending. In the height of the neo-soul era, people swore that every one who like Common's "The Light" was a bandwagon fan who wasn't down from day one. People who liked Lauryn Hill's second album were just trying to connect themselves to the struggle through Lauryn cause there's no way they actually liked the music.

Yeah that post made absolutely no sense. Adele is one of the best POP singers out right now. And that is not a sarcastic or insulting comment by the way because she has referred to her style being pop herself. I respect the hell out of her because she is one of the pop singers currently that reminded people that Pop does not necessarily=BAD.
Rihanna should never be in the same sentence as her especially when she can't write, can't sing good without it being vocals retouched by the studio, can't play instruments,etc. How do you compare someone with no talent to someone with elite talent?
