but from what I hear, Japan is hands down probably one of the best cities ever in regards to culture and safety. Immigrants would fuk all that up, so it's good they are strict and they should stay strict.

It's getting very bad for a few countries. Like, there won't be any money or aid for an entire generation of old folks.

This is only a problem to a system that is based on a flawed conception of how money works and what is needed to support an aging population. Our current system is based on artificially creating scarcity of money and resources forcing people to work jobs to produce goods and services which only benefits the quality of life for a select few in society. A growing population is the easiest way to keep up a ponzi scheme in which the economy is designed to continuously increase inequality without the rich ever needing to feel the consequences of using up the poor.

What is needed is not more people to keep up the supply of goods and services but rather a redistribution. Mainstream economists worrying about declining populations are only worried about their generation not being able to leech off of the rest of society to the same degree as they used to. They feel entitled to a certain bottom level of luxury that they don't need to work for.
