Or maybe like other people stated working people to death with low pay is not the best way to promote marriage and reproduction. It looks like you can have educated women or a sustainable birthrate. History has not shown me You can have both.
A joke?Do not educate your country's women. And keep religion strong.
I read this book called "The Two Parent Privilege" and interesting enough it seems that the educated, more affluent classes, are still getting married and reproducing. The ones that aren't are the uneducated men / women so they're suffering more.
I've seen articles that go both ways.I'm curious who's happier between those women.
Poor people in poor countries have higher birthrates though.Or maybe like other people stated working people to death with low pay is not the best way to promote marriage and reproduction.
You just asked if a slave is happier than a free person.I'm for women getting education and progressing. I'm just wondering how this issue can be resolved for both genders because it may destabilize our country and we see now people not pairing up is one of the contributing factors to the rise of depression and loneliness. I want women to find viable partners and build communities, not an erosion of it. We see that this is causing a huge divide and problem in many levels. Another problem is everything is simply getting more expensive so maybe more social safety nets will help that. In tech I see we have an opportunity for more paid maternity & paternity leave. Other industries are still lagging.
Its only a temporary solution. In Germany for example within one generation the immigrants children barely have kids either. Its not the people, there is a fundamental problem that no country seems to be able to fix.Japan, Korea, China, US, Canada, all the same boat. Without immigrants, economies will collapse in less than 50 years
Actually, i think the solution is to double down.It looks like you can have educated women or a sustainable birthrate. History has not shown me You can have both.
People have to manage not wanting to be in poverty plus not having time for children vs having a child or even multiple. Also having children without having the means to support them leads to and reinforces poverty, so higher birth rates without considering the economic impact is not sustainable just like not having enough kids to maintain the population as well.I've seen articles that go both ways.
Poor people in poor countries having every higher birthrates though.
If they were more open to foreigners they could buffer their population decline easily with immigrants. A lot of people would love to live in Japan
