I believe two thirds of his net worth comes from his liquor investments. Tidal is owned by a holding company that Jay-z is the primary owner of, so he's technically not the DIRECT owner of it depending on how you look at it.
Goodell runs the most profitable sports league in the world. It doesn't matter what his personal net worth is, the organization he controls is where his power comes from.
Tim Cook isn't a billionaire either, but he runs Apple. That makes him one of the most powerful people in the world.
Bob Iger isn't a billionaire either, but he runs Disney. That makes him one of the most powerful people in the world.
Power and personal wealth don't necessarily go hand in hand.
