That was a great day for Jay stans:banderas:

I still remember it like yesterday when all Jays former peers all swore Jay wasnt they boss, and had nothing to do with they album....Until they couldnt get a release or that album flopped, then it was about all the shyt Jayz wasnt doing that he should be doing:pachaha:

Great times, wish Jay couldve stayed president of defjam, thy need another big name up there to bring some energy back:mjcry:

:dame:Yea Jay was an executive and Nas was an artist.

Yeah, Jay had an executive role which he was offered at the time, Nas didn't wasn't that so turned down them offers and wanted to be an artist, the Nas and Jay squashing shyt was in part to facilitate his move to Def Jam, if Jay wasn't there he would have come there anyway, it was partly so everyone was comfortable and on the same page. It was a good move for all at the time.

So they offered Nas the president of Def Jam position but he turned them down huh:heh: Sure.

I know that Nas fanboys are real insecure when it comes to Jay Z but Jay Z was above Nas in the company. Jay S was the president of the label that Nas was recording for. Spin that how you want.
