Nah. 2005 was not Jeezy. 50 and Game dropped "How We Do" and "Hate It or Love It" back to back. 50 had some wack singles in "Candyshop" and "Just A Lil' Bit" for his own album, but there was a gang of album cuts that were heavy from "Ski Mask Way" to "Baltimore Love Thing" to "Position of Power". Then you had "Outta Control" remix. Act like "Hustler's Ambition" and "Window Shopper" weren't hot.

Migos didn't run this year. Kendrick's album is the uear's biggest and the singles from it are some of the biggest.
Jeezy dropped Trap or Die and 101 in 2005. That nikka had the streets and clubs on lock like only handful of rappers have ever had it.

No one was fukking with those Massacre songs like that. stop it

Kendrick album is bigger but Migos album was huge too and Migos has huge singles as well they also are still killing shyt and they have songs still in regular rotation unlike Kendrick who singles are already played

How was that a footnote? I could have simply not mentioned P at all. He just wasn't bigger than Puffy/Biggie that year.

Jeezy didn't run 2005. That is a rewrite. 50 owned 2005 beginning with Game's The Documentary and ending with the GRODT Soundtrack. I've never been a 50 fan and bumped Jeezy more than i ever bumped 50, but 2005 was 50's.

2010 was Ross. He had a strong run until mid 2012.

Kendrick is easily bigger than Migos in 2017.

People were getting cold on 50 by then,he was becoming raps villian by that point. Jeezy on the other hand had the streets locked:wow:

You barely mentioned P in 97 which is fair because he gained traction at the end of 97,but then had the audacity to not mention him at all for 1998:martin:. When he was bigger than Biggie and Puff were in 97 pre Biggies death.

How can 2005 be Jeezy when late registration was bigger. It sold twice as many records and had way bigger singles.

I would give Ye 2005 over 50 cent thats for sure.

Jeezy wasn't really mainstream in 2005. Kanye was well established cause ofc he was going to have higher highs with sales metrics

But Kanye didnt have as many songs in rotation anywhere you went like Jeezy. Jeezy had nikkas dressing like, talking like him and everything

50 sold 1.4 million records in four days and he didn’t run shyt?
I love jeezy but he never ran the rap game

The Massacre was easily the most anticipated album of 05.

And 50 should also be mentioned in 02

So did Eminem,Eminem never ran rap music, and neither did Nelly.

Not my rap at least:martin:

and Massacre came out early 2005,we heard it early 2005 and realized 50 was pretty much done. Jeezy took the paton and ran it without looking back.
