@mobbinfms are you gonna keep replying to me for the attention or provide the Missy/lyricism receipts you've been ducking?
I'm not sure that I can post a receipt to prove that Missy isn't "hardcore".Got them Missy/lyricism receipts?![]()

My back was getting sore from all the ducking...so I went ahead and posted "receipts"@mobbinfms are you gonna keep replying to me for the attention or provide the Missy/lyricism receipts you've been ducking?

That definitely wouldn't be the word I would use to describe Run DMC. But they've got some hardcore shyt I guess. Sucka MCs.@mobbinfms do you consider Run DMC hardcore?
One of the biggest lies told on the internet.the blueprint 2 album was a pile of hot dodo though![]()

Run-D.M.C. have been credited as the first hardcore hip hop group
Gangsta rap has been associated with the style; however, not all hardcore hip hop revolve around "gangsta" lyrical themes, even though there is a great deal of overlap, especially among hardcore rappers of the 1990s
I agree that hardcore isn't just about subject matter.

One of the biggest lies told on the internet.
The album was just not cohesive and sounds like a mixtape because it's just too many songs.
That's literally the only issues. The album was't put together well enough to justify people listening for a hour and a half straight.

I agree that hardcore isn't just about subject matter.
While on the one hand, its kind of ridiculous for you to point to a Wikipedia article on hardcore hip hop
On the other hand...Missy isn't on that list![]()
Rolling Stone?I knew you'd bring that up with your trolling ass. Wiki is just the fastest to post and this isn't an MLA research paper. You can google "Run DMC hardcore" and find a gang of articles talking about how Run DMC were the first hardcore group.
Caccing Stone: Run-D.M.C. Biography
Zulu Nation: Untitled Document
XXL Mag: Today in Hip-Hop: Run-DMC Drop their Debut Album, ‘Run-DMC’ - XXL
Songkick: Run DMC
And frankly, it's obvious that Run DMC were hardcore and probably the first to do it on that level. Their whole style was rough, full of bravado and street.
Now that we've established Run DMC is hardcore, is it safe for me to move on to Missy?

I don't think the XXL article even says the word hardcore![]()

The hardcore, rap bravado exhibited by Run-DMC on their debut album was meant for hip-hop fans to stop and pay attention to.
