If Jayson Tatum comes back next season, he has to come back at least early March. Needs those 2 months to shake the cobwebs before the playoffs start. If he comes back late April then I don't know if you put him it that situation where he comes back in high intensity playoff basketball

That’s why I’m cool with him coming back by March 1st. Gives him like 6 weeks to prepare and that is depending where the Celtics are in the standings and if there are no other major injuries on the team.

That I wouldn’t like. Too soon lol. After the all star break I’m cool with if they’re in contention.

Facts. Tatum needs the rest anyway honestly. He's had a busy schedule with barely any rest in the offseason since 2021

- 2021 playoffs, then 2021 Olympics
- 2022 NBA Finals run
- 2023 Eastern Conf Finals run
- 2024 Championship run, then 2024 Olympics

Silver lining is that he gets to have the needed downtime

YOURE THE ONLY BRAIN
DEAD IDIOT IN HERE
CONSIDERING THE ONLY
ONE WHO BROUGHT KOBE UP
WAS POINTING OUT KOBE
CAME BACK IN 8 MONTHS.

KD AND KLAY ARE RECENT EXAMPLES
AND BOTH TOOK ATLEAST 14 MONTHS

Klay had back to back serious injuries. He probably didn’t rehab as aggressively both physically and mentally

KD had the calf injury right before. But more importantly, Kyrie went down that season and they were a 35 win team. There was no motivation for KD to come back

So the 14 month number is highly misleading. It does not take that long, not even for NFL RB’s who rely on agility and cutting the most

Giving me a headache seeing these uninformed posts :snoop:

Tatum is more likely to start opening night than he is to miss the whole season.

DOWN THE COURT ALL GAME.

NFL PLAYERS PLAY
FOR 5 SECONDS PER SNAP

:dead:ADRIAN PETERSON RETURNED
FROM A TORN ACL AND TORN MCL
IN 8 MONTHS THEN RUSHED
FOR 2000 YARDS BACK IN 2012

You sounding like a non athlete :childplease: Football is all about cutting and stopping on a dime. Short explosive bursts. That’s where an Achilles fukks you over; not running up and down the court. A hooper who isn’t overly reliant on athleticism or speed will be just fine offensively

Also ACL =/= Achilles. :childplease: A common misconception among casuals

Oh forreal?!?

Achilles tears are typically due to age/over-extertion/ inactivity or some combination

I’ve written a dozen times about tearing my achilles. But what was your point in mentioning distance running?!?! Hooping is not long distance running :childplease: nor does that clipped quote say that distance running is a common cause. Bc it’s not. Everyone should know, and any doctor will tell you, that:

Achilles tendon ruptures are most commonly seen in sports involving high-impact activities like running, jumping, and sudden stops and starts. These include basketball, soccer, football, tennis, and gymnastics

Ngga posted distance running thinking its the same as hoops :laff: and stop moving goalposts when you’re proven wrong. It’s childish

NBA PLAYERS RUN 3 MILES PER GAME.

THEYRE DEFINITELY DISTANCE RUNNERS
AND THATS CONSTANT WEAR AND TEAR
ON THE ACHILLES.

:mjlol:NOW THIS FLABBY nikka
TRYING TO COMPARE HIS ACHILLES TEARS
TO PRO ATHLETES

:what:That’s not the same as long distance running. Which is why you can be a marathon runner but go hoop 1 game and be worn out. 2 totally different types of stresses on the body. Casual

Nor is it the same way long distance runners tear their’s. Long distance runners first get Achilles tendinopathy. It’s their specific brand of ‘wear and tear’. They don’t typically just randomly rupture their’s without previous pain or inactivity first

And I’ve told you this before: laughing smilies and red font dont make you knowledgeable. It’s okay to be wrong my boy. You’re good at it.
