It’s basically fukk the celtics but I felt horrible seeing him go down like that. Tatum is great player and this is definitely a setback for the league. Want to see him back 100%.
THE NBA DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT.
YOU JUST CANT CUT PAYROLL
WITH GUARANTEED CONTRACTS
THE MOST YOU CAN DO
IS TRADE A GUY
MAKING X AMOUNT PER SEASON
FOR 3 YEARS
FOR A GUY WHO IS MAKING
THE SAME AMOUNT BUT SIGNED
FOR ONE YEAR

You can absolutely trade players and take back less money in a trade though, all depends on the cap situation of the team they’re dealing with
I don’t expect that the Celtics are gonna be able to just make one miracle trade and bam they’re under the luxury tax
It’s possible they may not be able to completely get under the 2nd apron this offseason and just lower the tax bill from what it already is, time will tell
But they’re absolutely going to try to make moves and they’re absolutely not running it back with the same core minus Tatum next season
I don’t have a list of trade proposals to give you, I have no clue what this roster will look like next season in terms of who gets moved for what

so u saying they stuck at the 2nd apron for the 25-26 season, and the only way out is to trade long term contracts for 1 year rentals?![]()

TEAMS BELOW THE 1ST APRON
CAN TAKE BACK 125% OF
OUTGOING SALARY.
BOSTON DEFINITELY WONT
BE ABLE TO GET OUT
OF THE 2ND APRON NEXT SEASON.

never seen this surgery occur less than 24 hours after the initial injury. not sure what that means, but maybe that's the new way of handling it![]()

Brown makes 300mil too. Surely he's capable of a 50pt night![]()

Tatum has years and years of wear and tear not like he’s a rookie or somethingRemember when Achilles was considered an old man injury?
Now anyone can get it, it seems like. I remember when Kobe got hurt, there were like 5-6 players that tore it before him and they were all old as shyt. There was basically no data.
