its not the point Dak wouldnt be the same its the fact you have someone vetoing talented players. the fact Baalke was saying no on players makes you even think maybe the rumor about missing out on all those Harbaugh stanford TE picks were true

A lot of optimism from y'all on the HC position and team but it looks like the least desirable opening to me right now. 2 coaches in two years just shows no trust or patience. What desirable coach wants to deal with a volatile owner and messed up organization? I wouldn't be surprised if the 9ers are the last team to hire a coach and GM because they'll get passed over and end up settling. This just shows incompetence.
Plus this roster is terrible and is at the bottom with the Browns. Buckner, armstead, Robinson and I guess ward are the only defensive players worth keeping. Who knows with bowman right now and the offense only have Hyde as a piece but he can't stay healthy.

Not to mention in the NFC... not saying we are an inferior division but at the same time... we dont have to consistently worry about the threat of Beli and the Pats year in and out

the 9ers have had the cap space to sign top free agents for a few years now but never signed anyone and if i remember correctly, coaches were turning down working for the 9ers because reports of jed being difficult to work with and cheap were spreading. just look at the coaches the yorks hired since taking over: dennis erickson, mike nolan (who was also the GM for a couple of years), mike singletary, harbaugh, tomsula and now chip. all were cheap except harbaugh and chip, but harbaugh's 5 mill/year was still below average and was the lowest salary in our division.
i just watched some of his press conference and read parts of the transcript and it was the same old stuff he said the last 3 conferences. carry the cap over again only to not spend it, taking blame for another bad season, mention bill walsh, super bowl banners and wanting to build a winning culture
if paarag is helping him pick a GM and HC then they're gonna be in trouble because he's a graphs and numbers person, not an Xs and Os i just don't have much hope.

At this point as dumb as Jed is.... even I think that he is smart enough to know he gonna have to get on his knees and do a little bit of "service" this time around and make some guarantees behind closed doors

Ballard wants to stay in KC. We're interviewing Wolf Thursday and Shanahan Friday. McDaniels this weekend. It's very early fam chillwe cant even get these scrub ass muhfuggas to interview??
We (fans, specially in this thread) didn't want a QB precisely because we lacked talent and he was end up like Alex Smith. I don't see how drafting Dak would've made any difference. I don't think we lose much developing Dak or whoever we draft this or next year. Too many problems to dwell about a young QB right now

Don't like any of these qbs, the team isn't good so we draft a guy at 2 theyll be buried by poor surrounding cast with so little experience
