i expect the 9ers to win tonight. this team strength is obviously the front 7 so i don't see gurley getting much on the ground and their passing game is terrible.

Yea.... I'm very happy that we won this game.... especially always feels great when its over a divisional opponent.... but I'm not gonna become a prisoner of the moment of have delusions of grandiose. If Blaine plays like that the next 3 games we can go 1-3 or 1-4.

I refuse to praise him for the same shyt that his predecessor did and cats was calling him trash. Going into half time Blaine had only 68 passing yards. The buck of his passing yards came in garbage time.

If we gonna be "consistent" around here then we have to keep it 100 and admit this game was won due to the running game and the defense. Buddy damn near threw 2 or 3 picks and had NO real explosive plays.

He had an easy TD that he missed that we'd kill other folks for missing. He's throwing behind peoples backs and on 4th and 1 throw the ball at this dudes feet.

Its gonna be hard to duplicate success if he keeps playing like this. I saw nothing spectacular that helps his case on why he should remain a starter.

If we wouldve lost this game and he has the same stats, everyone knows damn well they'd be calling him TRASH. But since the team won "he played solid and looked good" :comeon:

Gabbert got lucky. He had at least 3 picks that were dropped. Horrific accuracy at times. We not gonna face that inept of an offense again this season (at least until game 2).

I counted 4.

Anyways, good to get a win. Think it will be a while till we get another.

We already know there's a massive double standard. Lets just enjoy the win and move on to Carolina.

Great to watch an easy win, I've been saying all off season I felt this defense was going to be good. Other notes

- Gabbert sucked. He did a few things here and there, but he looks like a worse player than he was last year. His accuracy is worse than last season, but you can tell he has the respect of the coaches and his teammates are behind the guy

- Offensive line looks legit, Gabbert had time and there was legit push against a supposed great rams front 7

- WRs were actually performed well, Kerley and Patton both had good games in struggling pass offense

- Bowman is back to form and Ray Ray looks to be a guy who can make a difference.

- Jimmy Ward played a very good game

- I'll chalk this w up as more of a Rams L. That team looked terrible and I can see them being one of the worst teams in the league, how can Goff be worse than Keenum

Glaine actually looked...not bad...on that one drive. Problem is he looked absolutely terrible on all the others. :shaq2:

If he played even ok we'd have scored 42 :francis:

The thing is if he had this statline but had zero interceptable balls aka Alex smith special I'd consider it fine.

However dude literally had 4 throws that could've been easily picked, with at least two of them potentially pick sixes :francis:

Obviously they aren't gonna pull him after a win plus if a qb is benched it turns into some controversy stuff, but I personally would like to see Kaep vs Panthers. We losin anyway might as well see what Kaep can do with a good pass blocking oline. Gabbert might have been a better option when oline was breaking apart every play because of his quick release, but Kaep might be a better option if pocket can hold

Gabbert is terrible :heh: There is no way you can convince me he is better than a healthy Kap. The heat will be on by week 2.

If the high mark of his perforrmance is his scrambling ability, which isn't on the same stratosphere as Kap, you know it's time to pull him.

The way dude was running I'm not sure Gabbert even lasts 4 weeks. Dude got hit hard a few times.

Dude was laughably bad but I was expecting that. The OLines improvisa ng so much was a big possitive though, regardless if we take 2 o 3 straight losses that's something to look forward to :ehh:

Yeah some of those throws were baffling.

Good point about the pass blocking OL. Even with all that time Gabbert is just unwilling or unable to stretch the field vertically. Having Kap in should also juice those read option plays and help Hyde, he was getting stuffed too often.
