Naw he just needs to concentrate on offense

Yea it sucks that he's had bad luck health wise. But I just don't see what he is capable of bringing to the offense that can't easily be replaced , even if he's healthy. I haven't seen any flashes of anything. He's a name that's brought up alot as someone that is an important piece but I'm always like . It's not like he's a playmaker on returns either

Kerley is very reliable. All the years returning jets punts I don't remember him dropping it or fumbling it.

Hes just not dynamic. He fair catches a lot and just isn't going to be exciting.

But if all you're looking for is reliable then he's your guy.

hes still a vastly superior returner than what we had before.

I actually like this trade the more I think about it. didnt realize kerley is only 27

line this year is improved a ton. just kilgore over martin is huge. and then you have brown with sky high potential and davis coming back. plus garnett should be elite in run blocking.
I always liked boone but hes been playing half-assed football the last couple of years anyway

no way hes cut imo. it would be a huge loss for Baalke's ego. besides, they saw very little in the preseason game. this story got overblown but team supports his right to sit.
and tbh if hes cut, the story would get even bigger
