Sanchez isn't as bad as people make him out to be. He's not going anywhere.

And I could show a game where Sanchez played good, what's your point ? In that game all I saw was a QB badly trying to make plays because he's under intense pressure to do so. With lack of run game and good receivers, you put a QB in a situation like that.
Sanchez has less than 5 good games his entire career so have at it hoss

I think certain people just don't like Sanchez just because. I see Jets fans right now saying they're rooting for Mcelroy and dude is trash.
Y'all have some high expectations if you expected Sanchez to play good with no receivers or a run game.
There are a lot of bad things Sanchez does that has zero to do with his teammates.
Like what.
he's terribly inaccurate within 5 yards....he fumbles every time he gets hit...doesnt step up in the pocket/has zero feel for the pocket...cant hit receivers in stride
All that is wrong expect he does have some accuracy issues. So how quickly will Jets fans turn on Geno ? Sanchez plays in NY where people want results asap, their not given the chance to be groomed, and Sanchez has been groomed terribly.

and again, hate to pound my point home for the 12983938th time on this board, but you DONT NEED a qb to 'carry a team on his shoulders'. thats actually a bad thing most of the time.
Sanchez doesnt have ball security issues are you serious![]()

no one is arguing that sanchez isnt a bust relative to his draft position
no one is saying hes a good qb or anything.
however, like you say, the jets have failed to sustain an environment for developing a qb. they are about to commit the same mistake with geno if they are to throw him in the fire.

teams are too busy trying to find top 10 qb and fap to him then actually build a team and BUILD a top 10 qb with the team. you can call it hiding behind a good team or whatever, the fact is you need a good TEAM to win it all anyway. and if thats the case, why dont start building a TEAM and then creating an environment where a rookie qb can thrive in ?
trying to find a qb in a crapshoot who can turn a team of bums into winners, is a dumb and lazy person's way out.
the point is jets have a million problems everywhere, but people think if they SUDDENLY get a good talented qb they will stop. they won't.
