Ya I grew up not far from that area it's nicer now than it was but it was never THAT bad . Now Nickerson gardens for example, been there once and never wanna go back. But it's def a crip area and at night shyt still pops off all the timereal talk just cuz she rep Slauson doesnt mean she from a bad area...i dont know exactly where i was but I went to this health food spot on Slauson called Simply Wholesome....the area didnt seem that bad to meI went to Nipsey's clothing store too and it was all good, I know its probably poppin off at night more tho

Nor were they glorified errand boys for celebrities. The Mafia that ran with celebs made their money doing Mob shyt not waiting for their celeb friends to hand them scraps for doing security. These new "gangstas" basically are personal assistance for artists because they not gangsta enough to make money on the streets with the real ones so they have to follow nikkas around that have real money so they can feed themselves. North of Slauson and East of LaBrea til you get to Crenshaw is still nice. It just gets a little hood once you're on Slauson and pass West Blvd.
