(1) You can dump the heavy weights, and do bodyweight pistol squats...It requires MORE strength, coordination, balance, mental focus, flexibility...Overall, it is a better exercise...squatting is one of the greatest exercise you can do. Great for the core, the rest of the body and for testosterone production. By squatting you actually make your back stronger and harder to break, so stop being a p*ssy.
It's an exercise that has a place in everyone's routine regardless of your goals.

Plus once you hit 30, the goal should be to get rid of the excess weight, and get lean, flexible with cardio...
