I don't co-sign how zion moving but chances are he and his agent let the pelicans know before the draft that he did not want to be there and they went ahead and drafted him anyway,which is their right.
Now both sides have to deal with a negative outcome.

It’s ridiculous, I’m surprised it’s not talked about more but I guess the Ben & Kyrie media attention helped keep it more lowkey. I mean what do his teammates think of him? He hasn’t been with the team all season. A month or so before the season the Pels announced they were hopeful he would be ready for the start of the regular season, it’s almost March now



I seriously wonder how many times he’s even talked to Willie this season, I bet it’s a few times at most, if not at all. And if they have communicated I bet it’s through his ‘camp’
