People are mad at joe because jay e was never even talking to him, he was talking to his white cohost. A good percentage of the hip hop audience is white and felt some type of way hearing the black man is God so of course they’ll find something negative to say about the album

I mean..if we were to compare Budden and Jay Elect, Budden has had the better overall career and body of work.
Exhibit A and C are probably better than anything Budden has recorded tho but Budden does have classic mixtapes (Mood Muzik 2 and 3) and many memorable verses.
Escape Route and Padded Room were good but ruined by lazy/horrible mixing.
Jay Elect could've been one of the top rappers in the game while Exhibit C was buzzing but he dropped the ball and has reduced to being this folk hero/urban legend and honestly I think it's wack. He really did waste his prime being inactive, drunk on Twitter and dating that ugly Rothschild chick.

Nothing wrong with having a Jay Z feature in your album.. but to have him rap on nearly the entire album? When its your debut? And you get out performed? Nahhh

You can’t say jay e has 2 songs better then anything joe has ever recorded then say joe has the better body of work. That makes no sense. Jay e is 43 years old and got a joint album with jay z based of the strength of a few songs not to mention you and everybody else taking time out your day to comment about it. That was joes dream career and that’s why he’s so bitter.
Joe is a good podcaster and very good at his current job. Hell, the dude stayed in the news despite having no music that resonated with listeners for a decade. He's a big name now and I tip my hat to him so I'm not a fukking hater lol

You should have been taking notesbesides the production being a snoozefest and Hov outshining him on most songs, where was joe wrong on his critique? He's right, you don't get to know who Jay elec is and you don't get 2 verses a song by Jay as well. taking notes on what? on how to pick some of the most boring production?? breh, not everything that seems lyrical without some added flavor should be considered "Classic" or "Great". Gotta learn to think beyond what everyone else says. If the production is boring, it's boring, doesn't mean i'm hating. Budden always intrigued his fans and how? by being relatable and picking the production that went with what his niche was. And of all artist that is known for having GREAT PRODUCTION, Hov should've had some input on putting a better team behind Elec.
