A Twitter poll claiming that 66% of Latinos think Trump won the debate obviously has nothing to do with reality. Even BREITBART posted that the poll was off the internet and probably just gamed by trolls. BREITBART is being more honest about presidential poll results than you are.

I think some of y'all are underselling Biden's performance. He was solid. Not perfect but he had some great lines about covid about how the American people didn't panic, Trump panicked... he had some other good lines in there on various issues.

Plus, a lot of people were trying to say Biden literally had dementia and that's out the window. He was sharp in certain areas and had smoke for Trump, called him a clown and shyt...

I think Biden did well tonight.

Biden didn't do well tonight, Trump just did tremendously poorly. I think Biden was probably actually the worst candidate to put up against Trump's OD undisciplined energy. Whether due to age or stuttering, Biden doesn't do well with unstructured, chaotic environments. Constantly closing his eyes or looking away, trying to remember his lines when Trump interrupted. He did have a couple good moments when he was allowed to speak uninterrupted and make his pitch to the nation, and when he was talking about his sons, but Trump was so disruptive for the majority of the "debate" that it got washed away. Biden didn't look like he was prepared for what Trump threw at him. He "won" the debate (whatever that means), but he's lucky Trump is such a massive idiot.

Back to the debate...Biden did what Hillary couldn’t. Hillary is infinitely smarter and more impressive than Biden intellectually but sometimes you have to meet fukkery with fukkery. Biden refused to be bullied. He stood tall and was the bigger person for most of the night. Even when he threw names out he was responding to Trump’s ignorance. Trump didn’t see weakness or blood tonight...and I bet it terrified him. He’s gonna go nuclear next. The smears and “leaks” will be stepped up.

I don't know what debate you were watching if your takeaway that Biden "refused to be bullied" and "stood tall". He was constantly letting Trump's interruptions stop him from finishing what he was saying. There were moments where Trump was just wildly rambling bullshyt and Biden was just looking away or meekly saying into the mic "It's not true. It's not true. It's not true." He didn't have that "clap for that you stupid b*stards" energy tonight.

I get what they're trying to do here, but I really hate when people say stuff like this. Nixon's war crime of the Cambodia campaign and his treasonous backchannelling to sabotage Vietnam War peace talks during the '68 election. Bush Jr. knowingly lying about WMDs to sell the fraudulent War in Iraq. Bush Sr.'s entrapment of Keith Jackson to sell drugs near the white house so he could tell the story in his address to the nation and sell the War on Drugs. Hell, Woodrow Wilson screened Birth of a Nation in the White House and constantly stanned the KKK openly. Trump is a b*stard and needs to be removed as soon as possible by any means necessary, but his buffoonery last night shouldn't be compared to the other actual murderous actions taken by previous administrations and Presidents. Shows people are more concerned with decorum than actual brutality and oppression. He shouldn't be used as a vehicle to rehabilitate other monsters or whitewash American history.

Well that's why people say they don't want to think about the president. Now that Americans are seeing just how awful their government is, they want to look away. This should force change. It would in other countries.

I think he did ok. My biggest problem was that I wish he didn't engage with Trump so much. He did a great job at making it about the American people when talking about COVID and the taxes.
