it just shows how hard march madness is, you gotta win 6 straight against top teams and zero games at home, how many teams win 6 straight in conference play ?
I hate Calipari, but Im always going to give his punk ass the benefit of the doubt because he's constantly fielding inexperienced teams. Teams that win this tourney are seasoned teams.

Not a huge fan of Calipari's Xs and Os but this is a bit harsh, no? Very difficult to win the whole thing when he basically has a new team year in and year out with freshman
its his fault he always has freshman. for every Tyler Ulis he recruits 10 1 and done's, so why should i care about his young team? it'll be young again next year because he recruited 3 1 and done's to carry this team
now, until the NCAA gets its policies right i wont hold the fact he does that against him, hes just using the system presented to him, but i sure as hell wont offer it as an excuse. he could go get 5 4* grinders and build a team but he doesnt want to do that
I mean, he's gotten three schools to the final four, I think the guy deserves a little credit.
Look at the teams that made it to the final four, Gonzaga , South Carolina, Oregon and North Carolina are veteran teams, who have played together for years and in gonzaga, North Carolina, Oregon have prior NCAA tourney experience

if the the Fab 5 couldnt win it as Freshman and Sophomores, then that should tell you how hard it is to do. At least Calipari did it once.
Fab 5 was the blueprint and lost to seasoned teams twice.

Self hasn't had nowhere near the talent of Cal. That's why he doesn't get that heat although the tide is turning on him deservedly so.
Self is just a choke artist..Cal just has had a few bad breaks. Like last year if Skal played with aggression that team gets to the elite 8 at least.

watching devin booker get off in the nba, cal mismanaged that team he was on favoring them damn twins when this kid was on the bench and the only thing i thought they were missing was shooting. not sure what he's done since, but that was bad coaching. cal clearly got outcoached by roy down the stretch yesterday (no shame in that) and that game was only close because of big boy shots.

Self is great at developing his talent and coaches a system which is why one and
dones typically stay away from kansas but he does choke in the tourney. If self
had the players coach cal had then who knows.
