Goatganda the pearl of Africa
Chandler Parson was traded when he became an expiring and not before then. Memphis even offered the #4 pick and to trade down for teams to take on his contract, but no one budged.

Rashard Lewis got traded for another bad contract in Gilbert Arenas, so it was a wash as neither team benefitted from the deal.

CP3 stayed in OKC for that one season MAINLY because they were going to have to attach sweeteners to the deal just to move him. That All-NBA he had benefited OKC in that they actually got a first round pick in return instead of having to send one out. Even then, they didn't really get that much in return for CP3.

You can cap and make up any excuse for Wall if you want to, but no one is taking on his contract with how ass he performed last year. They'd obviously rather wait until he's bought out and bring him in on the cheap.

not to mention John wall attitude as well

a young team would you want john wall around as a leader or mentor?

That’s debatable but all I’m saying is Wall can be traded
He already has.

The question is who would take Wall under the condition that Houston doesn't attach something to him?

The ONLY thing that can help Houston is that nobody is tryna clear money for next summer. It's the summer after that, so if a team has a shytty deal with 3 years left, that's a team to call. (the bad news is that not a lot of teams have shytty long term deals unless they just signed them)

For example, say the Clippers wanna get off the third years of Morris and Kennard. That would work, because even with an expiring to make the money work, Houston shaves $15 mil in the short term, and the Clips free up money a year sooner.

Full circle... I distinctly remember when The Wizards drafted Wall and they did the same thing with Gilbert Arenas that Houston is doing to Wall. The irony is pretty accurate

Injuries suck man. Wall was so dynamic when he was healthy. That 2016 season was special.
