A lot of beat writers for the Knicks said they'd have picked Davis if Washington hadn't. Instead, they wound up trading the pick to dump salaries for cap space to sign Jalen Brunson. So this disaster of a pick probably helped the Knicks dodge a bullet and set them on a path for landing Jalen Brunson.

A lot of draft twitter loved him, including a bunch of the Knicks guys I generally agree with. This was a rare case where I didn't agree because I didn't like his lack of separation as an undersized prospect. The people that liked him are usually right more often than I am though.
