Yea, just think about it. Depending on your mission and where you at you will have access to classified info. You will be "in the know" more than others. He's right about the stacking money thing, but really that's with any job, even in the civilian world. It's just in the military you will be able to get tax free money on occasion(deployments) and sometimes bonuses if/when you re enlist depending on job(dont expect it tho). Really that's just blowing smoke.I definitely want something that translates to the civilian world.
But the recruiter was telling me, if I stack my money right for 20 years and stay in, I won’t even have to work because I will be getting a stipend from the military for the rest of my life depending on the rank I retire with.
Which is kinda putting me in a spin.
He was also saying people that go more towards the “intelligence” field can get government jobs afterwards.
If it was me with that score, I would go Air Traffic Controller or Contracting. Contracting is another one that can get you paid when you get out.
