Like most things the bodies of black men are used as proxies to get agendas across some that benefit them and most that don’t really not unless they in your lives because on one hand they boost them up as leaders then in the next hand they laugh, joke, and minimize all the things they do even off and on the court. A lot of it is spread because as a lot of these guys move up it’s less Black people around except their family, old friends, and others like them but all around them are white peoples that may work for them or with them spilling secrets to other white people and playing their arm chair psychology shyt. White people love getting off on hearing about how Black people have egos despite the fact they worked to get where they are besides natural gifts. Social media helped at first because it was made just for elite white nerds in the know so when someone like KD is on they feel like someone is in an inner sanctum.

With COVID specifically the NBA players have always done what needed to be done to get what has to be done. From the Bubble to now they have been the canaries in the coal mine. If the last two seasons when they tested multiple times daily and away from they family and agreeing to contact tracing that had guys miss games then later had their sacrifices made into jokes why is them not taking the vaccine such a big deal when NY and Cali are the only two states with such mandates only for residents this only involves six teams. By now the NBA should have systems in place. Everything at this point is out so we don’t even really know the players right but the media uses that to paint pictures of it then they go and make articles, books, podcasts, and shows about it a recent example is Kyrie so within the last couple of months we have the rolling stone article written by a guy who wrote a book by about the Nets not too long ago and the story Nick Wright said about Kyrie getting traded for Ben Simmons then retiring when if we don’t know anything at all we know KD chose to play with Kyrie in Brooklyn. Even then what happened all these stories of how will they move the ball and before that it was all talk of them going to the Knicks especially after the Porzingis trade. That’s the last few years but even farther back like the league will announce things then go back on it and force the players from the Elam ending to the the play in. Another lockout soon come and I will distance myself from it because they don’t even talk about the game itself like this is the greatest the league has ever been.

Anytime there’s something NBA there’s a bunch of Bron,KD,Kyrie,Giannis and Steph stories sprinkled with Dame ones. The NBA Zia great it’s always had gateways to the culture but you can’t say these guys are leaders then knock them for lies you made then want to say they are leaders because they wanted to use them to get Trump out.

Just before the bubble there was talk of bio tracking the players the NBAPA shut it down wouldn’t a COVID vaccine get shut down too?

bullshyt. They're making decisions on their own accord.

You'd need to be influenced by someone or something to be it's pawn. Another "all anti vaxx are right wing trumpers" deflection usually found on Reddit
1) they put the misinformation out there

2) The right co-ops and seizes in on any opportunity to align themselves with any black celebrity that's vocal about not getting the vaccine which helps them with the continuation of the misinformation. The misinformation is then used to demonstrate the Left is "taking away the freedom and liberty" of all Americans.

True but at the same time I feel like getting vaccinated should be a personal choice

Ehhh he’s entitled to his own opinion and doing what’s best for him :yeshrug:

At the end of the day, the only person that truly cares about you is you. Stop expecting your neighbor to worry about your well being as they could care less.

I've said it another thread, some of those folks get ridiculed because expressing their discomfort or fear is followed up with some BS reasoning or something they heard on IG. Also anti-vax or vaccine hesitancy is commonly coupled with living foul (unmasked, unhealthy and disrespectful)

At the end of the day I'm just surviving. Weekly tests, masks, sticking in small groups

You’re right, but those diseases presented clear and present danger, while COVID somehow still doesn’t scare enough people. Guarantee if COVID scarred and disfigured as much as these other diseases this wouldn’t even be a conversation.

Wish this maga c00n had this much energy with his kneeling stance

I understand what’s going on but posting these sports stories outside of the coliseum ain’t what’s popping. @CHICAGO if it involves athletes and the possible impact to the team/sport it’s sports related.

Nah hes just a c00n

Public health trumps personal choices in many cases ie smoking inside buildings, wearing seatbelts, etc.

Those used to be personal choices but people refused to consider the knock on effects. So things like vaccine mandates will come into place when people refuse to make the correct decision for the greater good.

No one will make him vaccinate, but he will face some unwanted consequences if he doesn't.

I'm glad he cleared that up, cause that quote had him looking stupid

It's not a rumor

While I do agree that the media can be on some bullshyt and is playing a dangerous game for spreading misinformation, but dude is a clown.

I got negged for this comment :heh:. Who is @Dorian Breh and why is he a f@ggit?

If that can help, nothing happens long term with vaccines.

The only thing they do is trigger an immune response so your anti bodies remember the threat in the future. And even this can wane which is why there are certain vaccines that need to be redone every 10 years so your memory cells get a reminder.

The very agent of the vaccine is out of your body in less than a week after the injection. If within 2 weeks, you dont have an adverse effect, then there's nothing you'll ever get from that vaccine. You'll be safe breh.

:mjlol:

Who didn't see this coming :francis:

He's also wrong about natural immunity... its weaker than the vaccine.

Vaccines > Natural Immunity by 2x-9x

maybe for a 60 year old diabetic.

The man is young, healthy and got over a mild case of covid. He got over it unvaccinated, you expect him to do worse if he gets a second bout with his body having antibodies? :mjlol:Why cant he skate by on natural immunity. The amount of healthy 24 year olds with NO pre existing conditions that died of covid is extremely close to zero if it isn't actually zero.

doesn't matter. A mild case is mild case. He already had it. Knows what it's like and has antibodies. A second bout is likely to be even milder.

This has nothing to do with public safety at this point and all to do with compliance. The mandates make zero sense.

I can be unvaccinated, go get the shot and immediately I'm allowed to go to the movies, bars, dine in doors, etc despite not being immune until two weeks after THE SECOND SHOT?!? But someone who recovered from covid 3 weeks ago is somehow an anti vaxx threat to society :mjlol: make it make sense.

He's saying what I've been saying this whole time :mjlol:

Y'all mad af in here I bet :russ:

Young, healthy, unvaccinated nikkas are NOT dropping like flies. That's them old folks 65+ for the most part.

One of my gym buddies has the same sentiment. He had covid in the summer, socket for a week and a half and said fukk a vaccine I already have antibodies :yeshrug:
I don't understand the logic in any of this peanut butter and jelly babble you just said. Acting like people don't give AF about they grannies.- Also it's the young thundercats spreading it to the old folks.
