I didn't guess, those numbers came straight from the CDC.

I'm gonna repeat exactly what I said cause apparently you didn't read it:
Look at that chart. In August/September during the delta surge, Covid was the LEADING cause of death among 35-44 year olds. It was the #2 cause of death among 25-34 and #4 among 15-24. That's crazy high. And that's just deaths, not even counting all the people who have long-term effects without death. Pretending like Covid isn't affecting any young folk is just bullshyt.
If you like hard #'s better, official CDC numbers show that over 44,000 Americans in their 40s or younger have died of Covid-19. And that's just confirmed deaths - the true death toll is almost certainly higher due to people who died of heart attacks, blood clots, etc. without being tested. To put it another way, if you're in your 30s then your risk of dying has increased by about 10% compared to before the pandemic began, if you're in your 40s then it's increased by closer to 15%.
18-39 about 15k of the 714k total deaths. That's 2.1% of deaths. A third of the country and only 2.1% of a virus that has a 2.2% death rate total.
What a useless comparison. Why would you divide the # of young people who died by the # of old people who died? If a million more old people die next month, does that somehow decrease the risk for young people?
You don't compare the chance of young people dying of Covid to the chance of old people dying of Covid, you compare the chance of young people dying of Covid to the chances of young people dying from other shyt. And Covid is now:
* the leading cause of death for 35-44 year olds
* the #2 cause of death for 25-34 year olds
* the #4 cause of death for 15-24 year olds
In 2021 your risks of dying if you're in your 30s or 40s has increased 10-15%, the greatest jump in our lifetimes. And you want to minimize that shyt and pretend like it doesn't matter when 44,000 people in their 40s or younger have passed away in just 18 months and it ain't stopping cause dumbfukks like you spread antivaxx shyt online.
That's before you even get into unvaxxed folk spreading the pandemic so it lasts longer, fills up hospital ICUs for longer, and leads to more mutations in the long-term so that this shyt is still around when YOU are in your 40s and 50s, even if you could have deaded it 10-20 years earlier just by getting a fukking shot.
Okay, I really am done now. Feel free to move the goalposts yet again and fill up the thread with more made-up numbers and bullshyt comparisons.
