There's only been one movie with Kang ("Ant-Man 3") and the reason it underperformed is because well....it's the 3rd Ant-Man movie.

The next appearance of the character was "Loki" season 2 which was a hit. So I'm kinda confused by what you mean.

Fred.

The MCU is in a phase that culminates with 2 Avengers movies in which Kang is the main villain. They’ve been setting it up since Shang Chi with the bands that allow people to teleport and summon things from other dimensions to Loki season 1 where they showed the sacred timeline. It’s all setting up the Kang saga, but people have lost interest. Their movies are making less money, not more. People have lost interest in the shows too.

:what:

Why are you quoting an article from August when "Loki" season 2 aired in November, and was doing 11+ mill an ep?

That's the last appearance of Kang. Which aired right in the middle of all this other nonsense.

Nobody gives a fukk about that trial and Disney is silly for dropping him. Let alone rewriting an entire multi-movie arc, like you're suggesting.

Disney had to fire him, its inconsistent with their corporate code to have him stay. Far bigger people in the company have been fired for less, like the Pixar dude. Its not personal that they let him go. Still, it doesnt affect reality.

They probably offered him the interview as an olive branch but at the end of the day, its public perception that will seal his fate and white women will never let him be Kang again or have an A list career without reminding us of his transgressions. He's hoping black women will have his back that's why he's moving the way he's moving.

They wouldn’t have dropped him immediately if there were any chance of bringing him back.

We got to face reality, dude won’t ever be Kang again. I just hope he’s eventually able to redeem himself in these white people’s eyes and have a semblance of a career. Dude got railroaded

IDK ...
DISNEY GIVING HIM THIS INTERVIEW
ON THEIR BIGGEST PLATFORM
IS SUSPECT AS fukk.

SOMEONE MAY HAVE JUMPED THE GUNN
(PUN INTENDED)
WITHOUT CONSULTING ALL THE HIGHER-UPS

Disney owns ABC Network, are they trying to clean up his image, is there hope for KANG :patrice:

With how quickly they dropped him he's not coming back as Kang. This is a big news item that will attract attention, Disney would be fools to allow another network to get the first interview.

Jonathan Majors is EXTREMELY talented,
but you nikkas need to face reality.

Son is FINISHED as Kang.

Y’all pick and choose when y’all wanna use the
“He’s a Black man, he won’t be treated fairly :mjcry: “ argument.

They won’t let him live the narrative of abusing a WHITE WOMAN down.

Start living in reality and stay consistent with y’all arguments.

He DONE as Kang.
The thing is the literal tape isn't damning enough. He has the sentence he has because the system had to make the black man deal with something but like @feelosofer said they're running a test to see if they can revamp him and the Kang saga.

I believe he has/can present the demeanor to pass.

The speed at which they dropped him can also be seen as a business tactic. The decision was already made based on a legal reason to void his contract coming true or not, and not public perception which was cast long before the verdict.

He won't be back on Disney pictures, Pixar, Marvel or Lucas films but they can stick him on Searchlight pictures a smaller entity that the general public does not know is in the Disney portfolio

White women don't drive Marvel's success and pandering to them has actually hurt the empire (Disney in general between Marvel and Star Wars).
