Would black people be better off without medicaid, medicare, social security and public education?

Even on here for all the talk on ADOS and reparations, there's been very little talk on specifics. I'm not certain reparations should even be an agenda worth fighting for if you dont have any idea about what it is you demand. There at least needs to be some consensus on the subject. You cant demand something that hasn't been specified.

The government gives tax subsidies to farmers, oil corporations polluting the environment, fukking people who donate jackets to goodwill... The process of paying reparations is something that is already built into the system, because the US federal gov’t gives billions in subsidies every year via tax credits to people for growing corn, or whatever.

He was saying people asking for reparations have no concept of how reparations would actually be paid. As if the US government giving away large sums of money is somehow so far outside the realm of possibility that we shouldn't even entertain the idea.

It's 15 billion dollars in subsidies... Every year. So there's been trillions in subsidies paid.
Reparations isn't going to be paid every year.
Fortune 500 companies hide over 2 trillion in taxes every year. Every. Year. If the government actually held corporations accountable as "people" like Citizen United said they are, then those companies would be paying those taxes, or would be in prison for tax evasion like Al Capone. Reparations could be paid out of that.
