Don't act like you had anything insightful to say. Your critiques were just mindless propaganda, usually where you'd just post an entire article from some news source, add ":sas2:" and then act like you knew what the fukk you were talking about. You would just shyt on bernie to hype up Hillary Clinton, whose track record is far more despicable than Sanders when it comes to her comments and policies.
HILLARY PASSES BILLS.

Bernie just flouts bullshyt and doesn't engage in actual policy

Thats why I like Elizabeth Warren. She's actually literally writing laws.

Bernie is just setting yall up for another case of blue balls.

So break up the payments in installments over an extended period of time :dahell:

Again, the point was that idiot was saying people who suggest reparations have no conception of what that entails.

While using pizza analogies to try and make his basic ass point. "A trillion dollars is a lot " is all y'all are saying. You're not telling anybody anything they don't already know. :mjlol:

I've already explained how it could be done, shown how it's comparable to other domestic policies already in place, and even suggested a solution to your nitpicking.
Thereby disproving that guys thesis that people asking for reparations are no-nothings asking for handouts.

The military-industrial complex and private prison system should also be curtailed and the money re-directed to, not just reparation payments, but the basic upkeep of America's infrastructure, see: Flint's water crisis, the alarming rates that inner city schools are being shutdown, etc.

If you break up the payments over time, the payments would have even LESS of an impact. The 10-20 trillion I'm referencing is NOT just payments either. I envisioned some package that may include payments, but includes things like tax and load forgiveness, government funding of programs that could help our communities, etc. Things that may not be possible to merely "spread over time".

A reparation package that costs damn near the entire GDP of this country, even spread out over multiple years, 1-2 trillion at a time, is STILL unprecedented in this country and NO there is no other domestic policy is comparable.

Take a 20 trillion, spread it over 20 years. At 1 trillion, that's STILL a higher cost than social security, medicare, medicaid, food stamps, welfare, and public housing COMBINED.

I'm not arguing against reparations. I have never done so. I am being realistic to the magnitude of what we are asking for.

No you are arguing against reparations.

I seen this happen in every internet video and thread with Leftists and reparations.

Leftists got a whole list of shyt that they want. Then here comes reparations.

"But how are we gonna pay for it?"

"What are reparations exactly?"

"But what about the immigrants?"

"How are we are gonna know who to give it to?"

Even Black people do this, but somehow people can conceive of free college, free healthcare, affordable housing, universal basic income.

But when it comes to reparations majority of leftists do this:

I'll say it again and I say it all the time. We are not politicians, it is not our job to figure out ways for the government to do things. The idea that the government operates like a business is intentionally put into the minds of the people to limit their asks and their imagination.

We know that governments don't operate like a business because businesses and the wealthy hide money, they steal money, they clean money, they make fake ass shell corporations and the government lets them keep it - but they cut social programs and cut taxes and then tell us they have no money.

This whole, "how are we gonna pay for reparations", is racism. It is benign neglect.

Countries been paying reparations to Jews forever. Germany even paid war debt for WW2 for decades and their economy is alright.

:mjlol: dumbass.

"According to the official website for federal legislative information, Congress.gov, Clinton introduced 713 pieces of legislation over her two terms. Of that count, 363 were Senate bills, while the rest were amendments or resolutions.
Of the bills Clinton sponsored, only three actually became law
. One established a historic site in New York, one renamed a post office and one named a highway."

Bernie doesn't pass anything.

They even tried to portray him as some "amendment king" AKA Mr Potluck :mjlol:

He passed more bills than Hillary, and they weren't just renaming post-offices. I don't even think you know how the branches of government work. :mjlol:

Dumbass, you don't even know who you're :cape: for.

Again, I have NEVER said I am against reparations or that we do not deserve them. I just disagree with several of the talking points yall use in favor of reparations and the talking points yall use to berate CERTAIN politicians on this issue. I'm sorry but screaming that the Jews got a couple of million, and the Japanese got a couple of billion in one time payments is NOT a good argument due to the cost difference of what we are owed.

I am being realistic about why this would be a hard sell politically due to it only being for a select group of people and the sheer COST MAGNITUDE of a meaningful reparations package, if we truly are to get what we are owed.

You can't make political arguments and then try to disregard the way government works and political realities.

:mjlol: this guy wants to act like he's some upper echelon political analyst.

You're telling people on a message board they need to figure out all the logistics of reparations before it even gets added onto the agenda.
Then act like that's how the government works. :mjlol: it's fukking not. The government grants laaaarge heaps of money onto projects that might not even fukking work. They don't plot every little detail out. The government is speculative as hell, they've spent millions on trying to control people's minds with LSD, controlling hurricanes to put out fires, trying to see if fukking UFOs are real. If the government worked like you're suggesting, none of those projects would ever have been funded, because the people behind them couldn't possibly provide the same anal-retentive logistics that you're demanding of reparations advocates.

And your whole argument is completely asinine, because at the end of the day - even a little bit of reparation money is better than nothing. If they can't pay them $20 trillion, pay them $10 trillion, if they can't pay $10 trillion, pay them $5 trillon. This isn't a one-time payoff in exchange for not pursuing further civil rights policies. This is just one step in "insuring the domestic tranquility" that was provided by the Constitution.

This whole "I've never said I'm against reparations " shyt you're on is hollow af. Because if you were FOR reparations, you would maybe suggest some solutions. Instead, you just sit there and shoot down everything for being too idealistic before it even gets off the ground.

I've asked this of several people and gotten only one (non-definitive) answer: Do you believe that the Democrat nominee for president would WIN if they have reparations for black folks as a specific, explicit part of their platform? Do you believe enough white, Hispanic, and Asian voters would stick with the Dem nominee in that scenario?

@DEAD7 was the only person who would even answer and he didn't even say yes, he just said it's possible.

I support reparations for slavery, Jim Crow, and all the evil that whites have done since then. But would the Democrat win in 2020 if that's an official campaign promise from them? I do not believe so.

Members of ADOS gang here have already admitted that they want Trump re-elected to "punish" America. Castro and Oprah's spiritual advisor (:mjlol:) are not serious candidates. They stand no chance of getting the nomination. At all. They are hitting Bernie with friendly fire because he is the most popular candidate declared and the wealthy donor class is scared to death of him. Biden is waiting in the wings if this attempt to squeeze Bernie out works.

NO ONE will ask Biden about reparations. And if someone somehow does, he'll give the same bullshyt hand-waving non-answer Obama gave in 2008.

And again, I SUPPORT reparations. I believe it can be accomplished but it has to be on the sly or else Cacs, Latinos, and Asians will allow Orange Hitler to get re-elected in '20. If that happens, Trump will be able to stack the supreme court with fascists so they can rule reparations is unconstitutional. Then there will NEVER be reparations.

It's chess, not "fukk that, Bernie and only Bernie needs to promise money to black people and only black people so he can lose."

And that's all I'm going to say in this thread because we've learned recently that TLR is full of Germans pretending to be black militants. :russ:

I always wondered that :ohhh:

Why no one presses Biden on the reparations issue......
