This is why you albino snow monkeys get on my nerve. Would any of you cum colored CACS answer this.

So why does the black population rate at Harvard have a 96 percent graduation rate?
Actually for the Ivy League the numbers are extremely high
1) Harvard : 96 percent
2) Yale: 94 percent
3) Princeton university : 94 percent
4) Brown University : 91 percent
5)University of Penn: 91 percent
6)Columbia :90 percent
7)Cornell: 86 percent
8)Dartmouth : 86 percent

Source : JBHE

Not bad for a group of people who supposed to get washed at these prestigious institutions.

Have a goodnight CACS, and both of you guys can Fukk off!

But nationwide black college students have something like a 40% graduation rate. That is what Scalia was addressing.

You need to google "Mismatch Theory" and read all the arguments and studies. The goal shouldn't be to get accepted into college it should be to graduate from college.

Obama will clearly pick someone based on the presidential election.
The GOP is at a clear demographic disadvantage and they're hoping that Obama's absence would decrease black turnout. Obama will certainly pick someone who would drive turnout.
A black female nominee getting blocked by republican cacs would probably do the trick.

So does Obama get to select the next justice then?

He's certainly going to nominate one.

Whether the (GOP controlled) Senate is willing to cooperate is a different story. They might try to stall until after the election, although doing that might hurt them politically. It's an interesting situation to be honest, we might see whether the presidency or the next justice is a higher priority for the Repubs.

well their really fukked when you think about it. THeir pres nominations are trash, so regardless of the current DEm pres or the next Dem pres is going to have to nominate someone.

Option 1. They fight the nominations take political blows and lose the presidency, thereby damaging their pres chances as well effectively losing both
Option 2. Put up a fight for show on the nomination, lose the SCOTUS seat and hope their fight wins them the presidency.

I mean they could win the presidency but I'm just not seeing it.

if they block this there's a good chance they'll end up losing the senate and house as well.

This is kryptonite.

Yeah, I mean in theory it should be a "Heads I win/Tails you lose" situation for the Democrats but they're pretty good at pulling defeat from the jaws of victory so I'll wait and see how it goes.

Somebody in another thread said Obama should nominate a Hispanic/Female for the justice spot and make the Republicans look bad to everybody for going out of their way to block them. :troll:
