Pharrell a better producer, you cant just ignore the fact that it’s usually all original ideas when he produces shyt, im not downplaying the sampling from Ye but its definitely way more easy and way less originality... and he uses alot of co producers now

I know a dope ass producer. Ironically his style sounded like the neptunes. He was from VA and used to claim he went to school with Pharrell or some shyt. But anyway, this was before I made beats. I used to see him in the studio and be amazed. He made everything from scratch and his beats had that Neptune sound. His shyt don’t sound to great now cause his style never evolved and still sound like old Neptune beats.

But some years later I started making beats. I like to sample. I can make original beats but I can’t play the keys so it’s hard to make lush melodies myself. But I linked back up with dude some years later, and I found out he can’t sample. He told me that shyt too hard for him, which is crazy to me. I look at what he do as hard. But he cannot make one sample beat, or at least he never made one that he played for anyone the entire time he’s been producing. He got a different ear. I say all that to say, I don’t think one is necessarily harder than the other.

This is no comparison. Compare what you just posted to what The Neptunes did for Usher, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, Kelis, and Beenie Man.You posted some bonus songs or songs that really didn't have an impact on the careers of those artists.

I would agree if Ye made boom bap. Ye just has an ear for catching melodies from samples that emote something. His co producers add something that he cannot. Just like Chad adds what Pharrell can’t. It’s not necessarily help but separate tool set. Just like Dre does too.

Ye and Dre ain’t like puff. They actually flip the samples into something else not just take the best part of some rnb hit

Pharrell by a light year

c00nye can’t produce anymore, is not a vocal arranger, can’t easily genre switch, most certainly can’t write and obviously has issues

Pharrell has been consistent since Rump Shaker and is still producing/writing to this day.
