They don't actually. He does a great job against elite big men and is one of the best post defenders in this game.

Nope. They lost only 9 games in the regular season, Nearly all of their loses came from Draymond losing the big men match-up. G. Antetokounmpo, Dirk, Mcgee, Aldridge, and the like.

Never said he shuts down guards, but on switches he does as great a job as a big man can and helps to hold them to a low percentage.

Wrong. He's an ok trailer when the ball handler isn't paying him any mind, but in general he's overrated. Guards like Harden blow right by him. I laughed at you mentioned he's can stop guys like Durant. LOL! Draymond has never shut down Durant.

If you don't walk away impressed by how he defends smaller players on a nightly basis, I'm not sure you're evaluating his defense objectively.

I'm not impressed because he doesn't do anything defensively, especially compared to Leonard. He's quick for a forward and can is a decent trailer/helper, but that's it.

You are delusional if you think Howard is destroying anyone in the post or that moving screens are what makes him the defender that he is. People will just dap that because they hate Green

They dapped it because what I said was accurate. No one hates Green, he's not good enough to warrant hate.

Howard would absolutely destroy Green all day every day if he wasn't on a team full of ball hogs.

Draymond is the better post defender and Kawhi is the better perimeter defender, by far. The league has changed since the days when offenses were mostly running through big men in the low post. Now it's mostly perimeter and motion based offenses in the league. I believe that is the difference in their value and why Kawhi is defensive player of the year.
