PG's offense has been in the tank since the first month of the season. Kawhi would kill PG's production if he got the same amount of touches and shots

Not necessarily. His FG percentage would most likely drop as well as his defensive prowess. I think he would be a better rebounder but not scorer. He is a solid offensive player but PG is a dynamic player on offense and a damn good defender as well. If Kawhi were a great option scoring, Pop would run more plays for him...point bank. Pop doesnt give a damn about names, he goes with the best option. If PG were on the Spurs, he would be the number one option, maybe 2 behind Parker some nights. I think if he were coached by Pop he would be close to 27-28 ppg because he would get great looks night in and night out.

Also, its not like Kawhi plays 13 min/game. He plays 30mpg and has 15 games scoring in single digits as opposed to only 3 games over 20. I've never even heard a coach/player talk about scheming for Kawhi's offense. If he were the main option, he would draw the best wing defender and the occasional double like the other great wings in the league. Not a dis to Kawhi, he has a great future, its just right now he is behind PG.

Paul George moreso than Leonard. But watching Leonard this year, you can really see his improvement
Not really, PG just had to be "the man," last year. So they were giving him a lot of shine.
As good as Kawhi is, he's never been a #1 option in the NBA. We really don't know how he would be if he was. PG was playing great before he was looked on to be the #1 option. Defenses don't scheme much for the 3rd and 4th options on a team.[DOUBLEPOST=1397323655][/DOUBLEPOST]
kwahi leanord is playing 29 minutes per game, yet hes averaging 13 points 6.3 boards 2 assists , and not even shooting the ball ten times a game.

If he was pawg this pawg that taking nude photos and duckface photos, shooting 20 times a game, having baby mommas left and right and signing a max deal he'd get more praise

A lot of people in this thread dont realize that playing on the spurs helps kawhi immensely. He is like the 3rd of 4th option on a team thay loves to move the ball around. Defenses dont key on him. Im no PG fan but its dumb to say Kawhi is better because there situations are so different. Nothing shows me that kawhi could handle being the first option scorer on a playoff team. Homie is stilll only averaging 12. Not saying that one day he couldn't but yall who are saying hes already better than PG cause his efficiency dont know the game. :yeshrug:. A lot more goes into it than that.

A lot of yall who keep calling calling Kawhi a 3rd or 4th option haven't watched any Spurs games in the last couple of months. He's been averaging 16 on 53% since he came back from his injury and with Ginobili and Parker having minor injuries and getting limited minutes (Ginobili only averaging 20 mpg) and DNPs, the offense has been going through Kawhi and Duncan mostly.

I live in texas homie. I've been catching lots spurs games lately (unfortunately) . He's not the number one or number two option breh:yeshrug:. Let's be real. He's a great young player and I could see him breaking out with more put on his plate but it's not comparable to being the first scoring option like PG is. Kawhi gets most of his points chilling in the corners. The spurs are extremely balanced. Other than Duncan and tony and ginobli when he's healthy, no one else is really being schemed on. Kawhi Patty mills and Danny green can all go for big numbers on any given night but they aren't first or second options . PG is playing on a squad with basically one other offensive threat (west). All I'm saying is that it's not comparable situations.

Pop has fukking Patty Mills looking like an All-Star when he gets extended minutes. These two guys have completely different roles on their teams and a lot more is asked of George at the moment.
