Paul George is better now, but y'all are sleeping Kawhi, he was always a very good defender but his offense has improved by leaps and bounds from his rookie season. Kwahi is also way more efficient.

thecoli is dikkriding Kawhi if anything.

PG is better and nikkaz here too big on voting for the underdogs of every comparison.

Y'all keep talking about this efficiency but not taking into respect their respective roles. Paul George takes 5 more shots per game than Leonard (as the number of shots you take goes up, your shooting % is going to take a hit). Leonard doesnt have to create his own shot, he has the likes of Tim Duncan and a HOF pg that sets him up. Not only does George have to create his own shot he also takes on the added responsibility of having to create for others (look at the assists numbers George is at 5 per game while Kawhi is at 1). I'd love to see how efficient Kwahi is once he's the focal point of a teams offense.

No he is not.

He a solid player who might be an all star down the line he currently NOT one

15/11 and 2 steals a game in the finals.
Shot 51% from the floor against lebron and wade.

ESPN just put him inside the top 35 in their NBA Rank, and there's only like 5-6 Healthy guard/wings ahead of him. So he's already right there by their accounts, as well.

Paul George is a super-versatile player, given his height - he's probably more sought after and more likely to get max money.

But when he played against the Spurs last year, and was check by Leonard.... 14ppg, on 40% shooting.

I've probably watched him play than you have and while he's a great player...

You haven't.
And he's roundly considered a young, up and coming star. It's not just The Coli. Everyone in basketball was talking about it during the playoffs last year. Everyone is talking about it now. Take a look around. I'm a paul george geek, and feel like I have to stick up for Kawhi, whose name most of you aren't even spelling correctly.

I think dude is looking for some sort of wow factor and Leonard doesn't really that. He dunks on cats from time to time but he's doesn't make you go :krs: with his dribble/drive skill becuz it's something he hasn't developed just yet. And even though his shooting had improved from his rookie year, he still has a little ways to go.

I like him tho. I like his upside and think he can only get better.

why are we comparing a role player 3rd/4th option to a cat who is supposed to be the 1st option on his team? PG is gonna get waaaayyyy more shots up, and will be facing double teams on the regular. kawhi will not see defenses dedicate themselves to stopping him.

you nikkas cant be serious :beli: i doubt any gm or most gm's n the league are taking kawhi over pg.

yea he can be a clucker at times but dude is 6'10 and can guard the top 3 players in this league not playing the point guard (bron, melo, KD) and can pretty much match in most cases what those nikkas put up against him, i cant say the same for kahwi and im a huge fan of him, i also wont knock anybody picking him over pg but :yeshrug:

:pachaha: Bullshyt. First off, I'm spelling his name wrong on purpose, and second, you made my point for me, NOBODY was saying this shyt UNTIL the playoffs. I've been watching this nappy headed mute before this recent hype. He's good, but the star bullshyt is nonsense.

I am a degenerate basketball gambler. I've been watching him for a while. He's good, and he has a great attitude, but he's a product of his system. Take him out of it and he's going to look a hell of a lot more average.

Force him to do anymore than what he's doing and he'll suffer.

This is like those dumb ass threads: who's better Eric Bledsoe or Iman Shumpert?

Two slightly better than average players getting dikkridden into bolivian

If both were expected to be option 1a or option 1b like George is, I don't think Leonard would be as effective.

Leonard is a better all around player. George is overrated and mainly judged by his potential, not actually what he's done.

What is Leonard better than PG at since he a betterr All Around player?
Sure not scoring, passing, and defending.

PG was doing exactly what Kawhi has been doing his first two years. It was only last year where Granger's injury gave him more responsibility on offense. Pop is gonna open it up for Kawhi this year.
