To the question, yes, I have engaged in colorism alot. The first thing I can remember my daddy telling me about girls was, when u grow up get u a chocolate girl with a big ass.

That shyt must've programmed my 4 or whatever old mind bcuz I've always had a preference for ds black girls with ass, shyt, I even love the slim lil booty ones. N nobody ever considered me a colorist or a self hater.

They didn't call that because that's what you're "supposed to" like

There is no victim. Reread the post. I am saying that skin color is not the only consideration a man or woman makes. It's the flow of the face, features and hair texture combined. That goes for men and women.

hmm, none myself I have experienced, outside of dumbass redneck/white trash white folk and color struck negros thinking I'm dark aka Akon color. One of my white professors said when she was a kid her and her friends wanted to get as dark as my skin color now (brownish) went to the D.R. and I was called moreno or brown skin person, black to a latino is Akon color.

No I’ve never been like “nah I’m not about to give you play cuz you’re too dark”, but I reckon it’s like a subconscious thing. Like I can admit I skew light with my preference (I’m not a dark breh myself), but I’ve never not fukked with a darker girl just because of that.

My thing with colorism is bytches start crying about that shyt and whole time they’re just ugly.

In high school I had a strict preference for Puerto Rican and Indian looking Trini girls.

I let go of my preferences when I got into college and personality became more of a determining factor than looks.

I would say that once you cherish the personality of a woman that colorism stuff will disappear.
