That doesn't make sense, Jay would still be Def Jam president, he would get his masters since he would have had a combined majority ownership of Roc-a-fella together with Def HJam and he would still start Roc Nation cause that was financed contingent on his career as an artist, his solid team and business acumen. He might've been forced to pay more for Def Jam or split his masters, however, I seriously doubt that they co-owned the masters that were on Def Jam evenly. Jay's part must've been as an artist & owner combined.

On another note it's tragic how you nikkas fall for whiteys traps so much that you now just trap yourselves.

If dame dash was directly attacking white supremacy (black empowerment is definitely something that threatens white supremacy) there'd be a ton of negative press, smear campaigns, and leaked info to attack his character.

They'd do that to get you to focus on him and not the truth he was dropping about them.

I don't think this is true. I understand what the guy you quoted means.

The reason why Def Jam gave him his masters to his recordings, and to be president, is because of the issues they had with Dame, and they liked Jay, so they used him to stay afloat. If Dame, and Jay, were real cool at the time, a lot of what Jay has wouldn't be here. It doesn't mean he wouldn't have found others ways, but, what he did get that got him to where he is at now, comes from the Dame split. Owning your masters, AND your publishing, is a BIG THING!

Jay is lucky Def Jam was going downhill, at the time, because that was an opportunity to have the ball in his court. HE was probably the one who negotiated keeping his masters, NOT Def Jam. I can't see no label doing that unless they need to stay I'm business, and don't want to let an opportunity slide. It worked because Def Jam stayed in the Game big until a few years ago. Everyone got money except Dame. He thought he was the Boss, only to be Caesar

They don't care because its just words, not action. The only time the powers that be do slander, is when a change is actually going into effect. Too many blacks don't support their own that are in business, so who cares what Dame says? The only time his words would be dangerous, is if blacks are actually circulating a lot of money.

Even then, I doubt Dame would be seen as a threat, because, his philosophy makes no sense, once you start talking BIG MONEY. You can't have billion dollar corporations if everyone is a "boss". Its just not capitalism works. Besides there are black people who are supporting each others business. I know because I do. There are even apps to find black owned business's. Just look up " black owned business's " in the google play store or the app store.

That is what is really important, circulating money. Not who has the most money. If Dame was speaking on that, then he would be dangerous. The average person don't know Dr. Claude Anderson, but, they know Dame Dash.

BTW, I like Dame when he just smokes, and enjoys life. That part of him I aspire to be like. My man smokes the good herb, in a jacuzzi, in his Malibu home. He has a family that owns business, and doing their thing. He is a good father. He hires people and creates jobs. He probably gets the best p*ssy around. The Good life

I didn't surf thru this thread but I heard the audio. That's why it's always good to wait until all the facts come out if this is all true. All these people were blindly running with Dame's words and not even noticing that he's shytting on anyone that has a 9-5.

If everyone stopped working and became entrepreneurs the world would be poor with a rich mindset. While dudes will be falling out all over the street talking about they're aspirations. If I was to ever do business with anybody I would do my research atleast. And make sure I have enough money to spend that I won't need in the longrun. I hope this video go viral for all these people that were on the Dame bandwagon.
