Dame being 10mil in the hole seems like a low projection. He was probably in debt even before having to write that royalty check.

BTW this really should explain to you why he's obsessed with creating businesses and involving family members. If he had an actual job his checks would get garnished by the federal government. Instead he tries to play hide and seek with the feds by propping up businesses through his family, and siphoning money from them. His son "owns" a restaurant for instance. In reality this nikka is just fronting for Dame, who pockets the profits and uses that to create another business.

It's a try-hard way to stay broke. It's also a way to overcompensate for being broke. He can't admit he is struggling. Instead he turns it into a position of strength: "I don't have money because all my money goes towards creating other businesses." But...what about your expenses? If all you do is waste your cash creating new businesses, don't your old businesses suffer due to a lack of cash to pay off their liabilities?
