:wtf:

These are TPAB rejects, bih. Rejects from an album full of rejects. :heh:

I'm telling ya'll Kendrick Lamar is the hip hop version of The Emperor's New Clothes. No one truly enjoys his music and but don't want to be accused of being stupid so they pretend that shyt bangs. :heh: I'll bet you 85% of the people in this thread are not listening to this shyt - it's already in the trash. And I feel like cac critics and establishment have been overdoing it with the praise and awards ever since he lost out to Macklemore at the Grammys.

Listen, Kendrick is a talented lyricist but his music is wack. I can barely understand what he's saying half the time and he's overpowered by the production. He's a supporting character in his own music. :aicmon:

Also, Kendrick's fan base, outside of insufferable, clueless, hipster cacs, are nikkas who are intellectually insecure and they think that pretending to like Kendrick can give them some aura of depth and sophistication. :heh::camby:
@cook Pass the Mustard on whose alias this is bruh:myman:

Kendrick. get it together....TPAB was underwhelming, this project you just released is a retarded version of that.

Just because you're being experimental, doesn't make it good.

I want that old Kendrick back
This.

I like The experimentation of song structure and shyt. It's great.

#7 the first third of the song I guess bumps mean in the whip. The second beat switch up is dopeness. shyt and he killed it.

The project is a mess but it's great in a way.

1) it wasn't experimental

2) there's a reason if its praised as one of the best albums ever...

Do you even music? do you know the difference between free jazz and fusion jazz? do you know what a blue note is? do you know anything about Bebop scales or Altered scales, syncopation and polyrhythms, shifting keys??

Tpab being praised by smart people with serious musical knowledge or musicians or critics as one of the best composed albums have nothing to do with it being "experimental" because it wasn't, its because the music was objectively on GOAT level

Exactly, if you have a certain knowledge & appreciation of all different types of music,& sounds (mainly the genres of the african diaspora) then you'll understand why this is one of the most decorated albums in music.

Honestly, there isn't a single flaw on tpab from a pure musical standpoint, not a single mistake.

honestly, I wasn't that big on TPAB but I knew this album was amazing, I was just not enjoying it, I never doubted its quality though

with that being said, I've recently fallen in love with funkadelik and jazz fusion from the 80s and this has become one of my favorite albums of all time :mjcry:
