If I don't know those songs, I am willing to bet there are a lot more people who don't...
Those are NOT certified bangers...
Kendrick has little name going, so I can imagine people still listening to him if he chooses that DJ Quik route...But I haven't heard his latest album yet (and I probably never will) and I know if he makes an album with DJ Quik, and picks beats similar to the above Youtube videos, he will fall off real Quik...Pun intended...
Dude needs to work with the next generation, not "producers' producer"...Especially, if you have already established yourself without them...

What bangers does DJ Quik have...?
I know he produced "Hearts Of Men" one of my favourite Pac songs, but other than that, it seems like he is one of those old school legendary "your favourite producer's producer" like Dilla...
Lots of praises, but the catalogue is severely lacking CERTIFIED bangers...I am talking "In The Club" level "crush the buildings" bangers...Not your personal "hot songs"...
Kendrick over some shyt like this

i feel you.. but quik makes some bland ass beats sometimes.. we will see..

so cleanAgreed.
Either this could be an amazingly crafted piece of art...(I don't fukk w/ Kendrick, but I can't deny he takes his art seriously and it shows)
-OR-
It could be...
And I can't definitively say which one it'll be at this point.
Now if Quick plays more of the Exec. Producer role, then that would be different.

Somebody call Mike Will Made It for this dude.If I don't know those songs, I am willing to bet there are a lot more people who don't...
