I fw what KD doing with the media but he needs to just do that shyt on his own terms and stop getting emotional over it. The way he started off saying "I ain't feel like talking" is the same unbothered energy he should have kept the whole way through. He lost me on that what do yall want from me type whiny shyt.

The media act like if KD said he was 100% focused on this season, they wouldn't keep asking him about free agency.
If he was all in on GS no matter what he could say that and end all speculation. But he wont say that, plus he signed a 1 year deal on purpose. So nah, it's very much his doing.

KD not leaving the warriors. He got it made there he wouldn’t be able to handle the pressure anywhere else. Media and social media is not for everybody. KD can’t handle that shyt
He better hope for his own sake he doesnt actually go to New York. Cozy, friendly Bay Area media that fukking loves their championship team has KD all aggy and on edge :skip: NY media would eat him alive

It's part of the job, plus he created the situation himself.

Plus Durant trying to tell anyone to grow up is hilarious

it's not his job to do what they say and that's what most of their angst with Durant is. The guy just wants to ball. He doesn't have to tailor his game to their agenda.

But he may want to leave... so why go and say he's 100% staying with the Warriors just to shut the media up. Then he goes and leaves? The only way it wouldn't be a question is if he signed long term.. but a guy in his position, you can't be mad at him for keeping his options open. People want to look at this from the fan's perspective, but you have to look at it from an employees perspective. These guys in the NBA are finally realizing the leverage they have, so they keep the option open to make that decision.

No one's mad at him for keeping his options open. Durant is the one that's upset.

The media has a job to do as well and they wouldnt be doing it if they dont ask the question. KD can answer it however he wants or he can just say "I'm not answering that" and go about his business not caring and playing ball.

But he cant do that for some reason and so he's pissed at the media for doing their part of the job.

But i keep seeing the media on tv, and hearing media on the radio, talking about "All he has to say is that he's not going to talk about it, and that will be it". But that's bullshyt.. KD will say he's not going to talk about it one day.. and the next day, someone will ask. The media has a job to do, but right now, all they are doing is covering the same topic and trying to force all of these different angles.

Side note: I don't think KD is built to deal with the day to day bullshyt from the NY media. Imagine the Knicks went on a losing streak.. KD probably need to stay right where he at

nah, NY media would be sucking KD off something serious. He'd be the greatest player they'd had in a looooooooong time (maybe ever :sas2: )

The hype train would be ridiculous. I think NY is a place that would feed into KD's ego. Especially if he made them contenders
