I don't know why y'all Warriors stans do this.
Y'all needed KD to even the series against Lebron's Cav superteam when healthy.
It aint a slight on KD, it aint a slight on Steph and it aint a slight on y'all's organization.
What's crazy is the double teaming of Steph didn't stop. So they were OK with KD getting his.
The double teammed person should look as if they were the poorer performer.
If at anytime someone else wants to take that gravity and let Steph get single coverage, I am sure he'd appreciate it.

The Steph hate is palpable, the paths to the final always point to injuries, he has no finals mvps, no true acknowledging of the double and triple teams, etc....

Explain how a series that went 7 games and game 7 went down to the final minutes means we needed KD?
I’m not saying I agree but I think the argument is Steph has proven he can win and compete without KD. And if they do it again this year then it will just cement it. And until KD doesn’t do so then the asterisk talk will always be there. For example the asterisk talk on Lebron’s rings with the Heat are pretty much gone now because he’s won elsewhere.If the rings KD won with The Warriors have asterisks, wouldn’t it be asterisk rings for his teammates as well

Why do y'all talk like this? The 2016 finals went 7 games and ended on 2 miracle plays, a superhuman block and a crazy 3. The Warriors won 73 games. You could run that series back 100 times and it'd probably be a 50/50 split. This weird revisionist history where Golden State was somehow overmatched and needed KD to "even the playing field" is weird, and I can 100% guarantee that no one would be talking this stupid if their opponent was anyone but LeBron.
The media, Skip, Shannon and others said they don't believe Warriors would have ever beat them again after blowing a 3-1 lead so it became gospel.
That's all it is. People love repeating what they hear talking heads say as long as it backs up their bias.
The fact is the Dubs were a better team in 2016. Upto the suspension and the injuries to Bogut and Iggy in game 5. The entire year match up between both teams including regular season was 4 - 2. Without the suspension and injuries I'd expect the final 3 games to be split 2-1 in favor of the warriors based on the sample size.
Haters won't acknowledge that though and start juelzing. Aint no way in hell they lose 3 straight under normal circumstances.
I watched all of those series KD was apart of. They was were def triple teaming steph and dared KD to shoot threes. At that point that was the only thing you could do.
