I don't see it as much worse at all honestly. Lebron and co. single handedly ruined the eastern conference by taking two 25 ppg scorers off Eastern Conference playoff teams and joining them with another. The East is still trash because of Lebron to this day.

Golden State was at least built from the ground up.
