I think this is a very important point. There is nothing wrong with being accomplished, but that should not be the end-all-be-all to your personality and qualities, because more is needed to sustain a relationship.
However, I disagree that black women should put their degree on the back burner. The answer to that question should have been to put yourself in the right circles to meet someone. The first step is already there, you're already in college.
Also the advice he gave for asking black women why they are getting some of these degrees can be used for anyone.
