IDK why Kevin doesn’t link with blackmenswear when they go to Atlanta.

media and fashion, both his sector.

The idea of “black men flash mob” is ehhh. But black men need to be viewed more than just fashion statues. Yes, you can dress, but what else? What business are you conducting?

Some of these ppl are a bit halloweenish tho. The difference with Kev is, he dresses more serious / business than the individuals posted. (You could make a pass for the other brehs in the navy / grey suits)

I did one in April. The creator talks about trying to break the stigma of Black men as a whole.

After the Flash Mob brothas are networking, talking business, and supporting other Black owned businesses.

I do agree though - the idea is novel but it's not the only way to change our image. Also yes some of them are literally just rocking one of those fits to wear once a year or something which isn't realistic.

Now to speak on the other stuff I wanted to say:

“Were you raised to value the presence of a man in the house before having children?”

to be simple, women who were raised to value a man are typically married. Think about the cute or gorgeous women at school (ha/college) who were genuinely nice, agreeable and etc etc they usually get married quickly.

and a lot of people’s financial expectations are wild due to social media and celebrities. 99% of us are going to live normal lives. Even if you make 6 figures. I can speak about the financial shyt all day.

I'll apologize in advance for a wall of text. I will try to shorten this up.

In the black community; Financially speaking:

Cliff notes; average income for Black people country wide (both genders, all industries, all education levels) ranges from $35,000 to $40,000. Yes, I live in New Orleans but I can count how many people I know who make $20 an hour or more. Most people typically don't have 500-1000 to take care of an emergency. Both men and women.

Women typically look for financial stability from a man, so that they can feel comfortable if they don't make a lot of money or are unable to work for some reason.

Men typically work to gain that stability, and don't have a problem with paying for the bills and taking care of their worman.

Here's the problem: It's not only the bills (house/car/utilities/food). Some Women want you to pay for that PLUS THEIR KIDS (from another man), THEIR DEBT (from before you), plus gifts trips restuarants and whatever the fukk else. If you can't, then you're broke. If you gross 3000-4000 a month like most average people, it only goes so far.

Or, they want you to pay their bills in THEIR household, while you still have to pay your own. Then complain about it all day because they're too broke to do anything about it (personal situation).

I've seen it in my personal life and people around me. When women get to 35-40 with kids and they're not married and they don't make a lot of money they start fukking panicking.

Hell, I only know ONE woman who has ever spoke a word about thinking about retirement. women do not think about it at all and it's sad cause SS will not be here for those of us who are currently 30-45 years old.

So it's funny how most of us are average and women still expect the world.

You can afford to buy her a 25-30k car and a 3k ring, she wants a 60k car and 10k ring. a lot of us deal with "nothing is good enough" from women and it's sad.

Don't tell this to Black LLC and Passport Twitter.

"The racist anti-black misandrist perspective is actually rooted in racist scholarship and wholly appropriated by Black Feminism."

Man...I haven't listened to this entirely yet but based on the comments it seems like other Black men ran into women with higher education that think they are smarter/better than you because of that.

It sounds like some of these women that I ran into with Master's and other degrees who flaunt it when I make 2-3x more than them.

:pachaha:Man ya stay posting costume cargo cult status type of jokers in TLR. Your average Black professional does not and generally cannot dress like this.

There's a difference between fashion suiting and corporate suiting.

EVERY MAN should have a solid color blue or black suit. Those more conservative suits are for business. However, some guys like to wear suits to more fashionable events like networking events, High end day parties, private dinners, non profit lunches, etc.

Mules are for parties, no one wears them in corporate. Pinstripe double breasted suits havent been worn in the office since the 80s and would look garish when presenting to a client.

The ensembles they were wearing are obviously not for the office, breh.
