There's a difference between fashion suiting and corporate suiting.

EVERY MAN should have a sold color blue or black suit. Those more conservative suits are for business. However, some guys like to wear suits to more fashionable events like networking events, High end day parties, private dinners, non profit lunches, etc.

Mules are for parties, no one wears them in corporate. Pinstripe double breasted suits havent been worn in the office since the 80s and would look garish when presenting to a client.

The ensembles they were wearing are obviously not for the office, breh.

I got an emerald green suit that looks well. Something fun and pops on my skin tone.

I've been trying to make a small collection of versatile sports jackets for events, dinners with my GF, etc. I will be 40 in a few years so it's age appropriate.

Same here on the age. I try to keep it forward leaning with Italian cut suits where the jacket and pants can be mixed and matched for more versatility. The most liberal I'll go is lighter solid colors/fabrics and plaids and pair it with some Oxford, monk straps, or Loafers. None of that two tone bisected stuff, overly loud patterns or shoes with a ridiculous amount of broguing.

Pair it with a good wide brim fedora, a good tie/tie pin/pocket square and a proper cologne and you have to peel the ladies off you, plus you'll get that respect from the other business minded gents.

:blessed:

Indochino and Express are good places to start, they have sales often and decent entry level suit prices. Art of Gentleman is my go to for accessories.

Express jacket length is hilariously short and they use wool-blends...wool drapes better IMO. Indochino, Suit Supply, Black Lapel...etc. For the love of God...buy a tux/dinner jacket as well.

“THAT MEANS 91% OF BLACK WOMEN NEED A fukkING HUSBAND”

:laff:

cause they do. I remember that girl that said she cries for a husband at night. No ged. No plan. 4 kids. Minimum wage job. She absolutely needs a fukking husband but will likely never find one. I’d venture to say most women who cross into their 30s with multiple kids won’t get married or have a short marriage or two. But still end up alone.

I'll apologize in advance for a wall of text. I will try to shorten this up.

In the black community; Financially speaking:

Cliff notes; average income for Black people country wide (both genders, all industries, all education levels) ranges from $35,000 to $40,000. Yes, I live in New Orleans but I can count how many people I know who make $20 an hour or more. Most people typically don't have 500-1000 to take care of an emergency. Both men and women.

Women typically look for financial stability from a man, so that they can feel comfortable if they don't make a lot of money or are unable to work for some reason.

Men typically work to gain that stability, and don't have a problem with paying for the bills and taking care of their worman.

Here's the problem: It's not only the bills (house/car/utilities/food). Some Women want you to pay for that PLUS THEIR KIDS (from another man), THEIR DEBT (from before you), plus gifts trips restuarants and whatever the fukk else. If you can't, then you're broke. If you gross 3000-4000 a month like most average people, it only goes so far.

Or, they want you to pay their bills in THEIR household, while you still have to pay your own. Then complain about it all day because they're too broke to do anything about it (personal situation).

I've seen it in my personal life and people around me. When women get to 35-40 with kids and they're not married and they don't make a lot of money they start fukking panicking.

Hell, I only know ONE woman who has ever spoke a word about thinking about retirement. women do not think about it at all and it's sad cause SS will not be here for those of us who are currently 30-45 years old.

So it's funny how most of us are average and women still expect the world.

You can afford to buy her a 25-30k car and a 3k ring, she wants a 60k car and 10k ring. a lot of us deal with "nothing is good enough" from women and it's sad.

Hold this rep my boy :ahh:

Retirement is the last thing they think about. They get glassy-eyed when I’m like…I’m quitting in 20 years.

I think that's why so many woman are really upset at Kevin :ohhh:

When he says what he says it wakes up men that could have been the man that saves them and her kids

You saying that leaves me with no hope!!!
