I can’t watch night after night like a lot of people, but I try to catch a show or two every once in awhile. I don’t agree with everything, but a lot of it makes sense. Man listen there’s a gang of 40 plus Year olds looking thirsty out here. All that grass is greener on the other side shyt is a dub. They are miserable. On a Macro level, this goes back to his point of us not controlling 100% of media that is catered to us supposedly. More specifically, media that is crafted to the sensibilities of black men.

He acknowledges the powers that be have ulterior motives with how they package media for us, but we have control over either supporting or divesting from what is offered. He preaches supporting content that is for black men and owned by black men.

I don’t necessarily agree with all of his talking points, sometimes teetering soft-shoe, and he sometimes goad confrontations intentionally, but the message and themes discussed are pertinent and offer a perspective that is not normally championed in the mainstream.
